Anybody get unblocked yet? I'm still blocked and still no email from them.

CELEBRATE – 50 points
LIGHT – 50 Points
GRAVEYARDS – 40 points

29VM48FNDZ – 5 points
E389VNV23C – 5 points
FM39V03SSW – 5 points
P03KVM830Q – 5 points

On the topic of disappearing points, my points were gone a long while, I thought they expired, and I was really upset. I don't have another account...and one day they were back. Don't know why...

Man, I would really like to get that Goofy 50 points, but no matter how I enter it (with caps, no caps, Explorer, Safari, etc.) it always comes up as No yet LIVE. Hmm.. :confused3

Me, too.

And what's odd is that it doesn't even give you an explanation or place to go to correct the status or tell you what to do. It just says "blocked"

SOMETHING is very wrong with the DMR website.
I got an e-mail yesterday about entering the Alice sweepstakes, and when I clicked the link it was telling me I am brand new and don't HAVE a DMR account! Um, HELLO??? Where are my accrued points??? Just to be clear, I haven't entered any questionable codes or done anything else that would cause my account to be deleted or anything. I am not very happy about this!

I just now tried to log in directly, and nope. It says I am brand new!

This is posted on the FB page:

IMPORTANT! Some fans have posted expired bonus codes on this Facebook page. Be careful. Members entering multiple invalid codes may find their accounts temporarily frozen and may not have access to their account. Your account is active, but you'll need to contact Member Services with the words "My Account" in the subject line. Be patient. It may take up to 48 hours to unfreeze your account.

ot of Hiffers had their Disney Rewards account blocked over the past few days and for that, I am extremely sorry. Many of the codes I posted were old codes that their system was mistakenly accepting due to a glitch when they moved to their new site. Fret not, however, because the blocked accounts are completely reversible.

Call Disney Movie Rewards at 1-866-246-8646 any time Mon-Fri from 9:30 to 6:30 CST
Press 0
Explain to them that your account was blocked because you accidentally typed in an old code. They’ll need your name and e-mail address associated with your account and you should be unblocked within 24-48 hours.
All told, the process is pretty harmless and took me about 5 minutes from start to finish

I just received this message from hey it's free

Thanks for the number!!

I just called DMR and asked to be unblocked. I didn't tell them how it happened (figured they know). I just asked pleasantly to be unblocked. The kind CM said it'll take about 48 hours but I can try this evening, and it might be unblocked then, too.

Are you only allowed to enter codes from the same movie once?? I took all the codes out of my aunt's DVD collection, and I took out all the codes from my DVD collection, so of course some of the movies overlap. At least 3 or 4 movies do.

But I've managed to get like 20 codes. And I've already redeemed for my first free gift. So YAY.

Do they do anything special around the holiday times?? Like should I stack the rewards like mad? Some of the big ticket items are just not for me, so my wish list is full of movies.

At this time, you only get credit for one of each movie. From their FB page it seems like they are thinking of ways to allow credit for multiple copies when discs are damaged (seems astonishing how many people let their little kids get ahold of their DVDs! DS is nearly 6 and we still have the House Rule that the parents take the discs out of the case, and he was only allowed to handle the discs at all maybe a year, year and a half ago). Might involve receipts and such...possibly just best to let your aunt create an account...

Me too. I haven't entered any codes in weeks, and I had thousands of points. Not a happy camper right now!

My account was finally unblocked. I just sent them an email (didn't call.) I wish they would allow more than 1 code per movie. I have some that I purchased on DVD and now own on blu ray, but I can't use the code. :(

Here is what I THINK is going on...

Disney seems to be "simplifying" its user authentication. In a lot of cases, you can use either an email address or a member name to sign in (like DMR). In other cases, it is now ONLY your email address.

Some poeple (moi aussi) have ended up with more than one valid member name over the years, mainly because Disney web sites are more prevalent than some people are aware.

In consolidating, one of the member names was assigned as the "primary" name. It is NOT necessarily the one you've been entering all your codes in, or the points have shifted between them.

Try this link:

https://register.go.com/global/disney/recoverMemberNames

And find out if you have any secondary member names.

That's strange, it allowed me to use my BluRay points for movies I had already entered as DVD's in the past. I upgraded to Toy Story 1 and 2 Blu ray just last week and it allowed it. You shouls ask them about that, just send them an e-mail through the contact page. I know you cannot do 2 of the same DVD, but I am not sure why they would not let you if your movie to all blu-ray now. Good Luck!

My account did the same thing and tried to get me to start a new account after they switched look of the site, it took a few e-mails through the contact us page on the site but it was finally fixed.

has any one tried the upgrade blu ray site?? Is it worth all the hassle of sending in the proofs of purchase?

I'm having to split the dvd collection, and probably won't end up with a lot of them. So if I can get the the bluray/dvd combos for about the same price as the DVD alone, it won't be so bad. I don't have a blu ray player yet, but I'd love to have a PS3 at some point in time.

And if you're still spending the money on a second copy of a movie... why shouldn't you be allowed to get the points from those?? I'm sure there's people that have the adult collection (like only mommy and daddy are allowed to touch them), and then second copies for the kids, whether it's for the car players or play room.

New free 5 points code in last newsletter. FLN0SXUX228
Must be entered by 4/30.

Was this the one in the email? My last email didn't actually contain a code, but a link which was itself encoded in a way to make me think it was unique...
