I just started something in our home. We dont go to Disney for another 2.5 months and there's some behaviors we want to try to correct with DD 5.
So, I found some download-able play-money (1's, 5's, 10's) here:

Then I painted out the person in the center and replaced them with disney/pixar characters. Told DD that in addition to saving her allowance (she gets a quarter every Wednesday for setting the table, hehehe), that she can earn these Disney dollars.
I printed 20x $1, 3x $5, and 1x $10. I put her favorites like Cinderella and Tinkerbell on the $5's....i put the castle on the $10. I explained to her that to earn the $5's and $10 she's gonna have to do some really impressive stuff...but then she can spend that money on ANYTHING she wants when we go.
She earned her first $1 on Friday by trying Sushi, which we've been trying to get her to do for a couple months. She now LOVES salmon sashimi, and is $1 Disney dollar richer.

I did this with my DS, now 9, when he was 5 before we went to Disney. I called them Mickey dollars. The real funny thing is we were in the store yesterday and he wouldn't stop touching everything. Finally I had him put his hands in his pocket and if he could get out of the store without touching anything else he got a dollar. Wish I truly had our next trip planned instead of just tentatively.!
