DISney moms of ALL BOYS!

I could never even see myself with girls so when I had both of my boys it never crossed my mind that they would be girls. Unfortunately, one of my "boys" is now 21 but trust me he is still 14 and the other is 16 but as he told me he still feels 10. I wish Ihad more boys. They are cute and do not try to manipulate the same as girls. They do not try the cutsey stuff that girls. Yes they do smell, BUT no one can tell me that girls are neater.

BethanyF-Awwww, Sam has a sweet smile! :)

Thanks...he can be a real ham at times.
That pic was taken last weekend (8-8) at the Fort Worth Zoo. He now thinks he gets a vacation every year for his birthday (it was July 30).

lotsofboys-I think many of us would say we have one more boy than we really do. ;)

BethanyF-LOL about the "bday vacation"!

OK, so checking in very late - I wasn't sure I qualified as I have only one boy - my son is 2 1/2. He has been to Disney World twice thus far. He loves it and I am scared he thinks that the only place we go on vacation - other than the beach in Maine.

I am checking in this morning to ask you all a question - I have another on the way and I have always thought I wanted another boy. But lately, and this is probably good as I will be psyched for whatever I get, I have been thinking I would like to have a girl. Not for the reasons of dressing them and playing girl games with them - but for a totally selfish reason. I think girls are better for when the parents get older. It seems in my family and most families that I know that the girls take better care of the parents later in life.

Is this fair? Can your boys be just as good as giving back to you when you are older as girls can?

Count me in with 3 boys ages 24, 23 and 13. Two still live at home and the oldest still uses our address as his legal address.

castlegazer-First, congrats! When are you due? :)

As far as your question, I do understand what you're saying. I think in general, girls remain closer with their families than boys...therefore taking care of the aging parents. But, I certainly don't think that's a given.

For instance, in my mom's family there is her and her two younger brothers. It has turned out that one of her brothers has become responsible for my grandma. He loves his mom dearly and is happy to help her.

I think it depends on the personality of the child. Girls can be distant from their parents, and boys can be close with them.

I've got 3 boys, so hopefully atleast ONE of them will take care of dh and I when we're old phogies! :p

1st week of February - thanks. I think this may all be for naught as I think its a boy again. But I am going to try and find out at my next ultrasound. I didn't find out for my son, and now I kinda want to know this go round.

Good luck!! Let us know when you (hopefully) find out! :) We found out with all 3 of ours, they weren't modest at all, the tech was SURE they were boys. I even saw the "determining factor" before the tech said anything!!! :hyper:

Just got back from the grocery store and the brand of hotdogs the boys like was finally on sale (they only like 1 kind  ) so I bought 12 packages, lol. But really with 5 boys that would probably only last 2 lunches :p

We have 5 boys 14,12,11,10,9
They are older now so they are really fun to have around.
as a side note, no I was pregnant forever 2 are mine (14&11) the other 3 are my stepsons. But they are my sons as well just wanted to clarify.:D
