So I am usually pretty much a whatever is whatever kind of person but I am a tad upset. My husband ordered me a statue while at WDW and it was too big to fit in a suitcase so we had it shipped to our house. Finally got it today and I opened it up and see that there is an on off switch on the underside of it. (which I did not even know existed) Anyway, the screw that holds the battery cover in place is missing as is the on off switch! It looks as though the wire was cut for some crazy reason. So I called WDW Merchandise. The girl that answered was a bit loopy and rude. I had no clue there was a research department that the complaint had to be sent to. She said my tracking numbers were wrong, which I was reading directly off the UPS tracking and WDW receipt. She also said if the research dept finds that nothing is wrong then I am out of luck. Like I cut the wire or something.
Has anyone else had problems returning damaged merchandise? Or did I just get someone who was having an off day?
