My wife was working on her scrapbooking and I picked up our scrapbook from our Disney Honeymoon. On the first page was a picture of 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. It was neat to see it again. I then was trying to figure out the angle the picture was taken from and realised it was taken from a sky bucket.

How about that for a double shot of Disney memories.

I remember those days as well... and I also remember when my husband tried to get one of the CM's hats, the ones who used to keep the park clean always sweeping and cleaning wherever you went, they would wear the hats like the French Foreign Legion... with the flap in the back... He wanted one of those so desperately.. of course we never got one.. We have been going to WDW since our children were babies, they are now adults... and the changes are phenomenal... I hope that I get to see Carousel of Progress when we are there late November... I miss that one...

How about this, was it Eastern Airlines that sponsored the Transit Authority around Tomorrowland???? I remember their spiel and still to this day when we get tired, we do hop on the Transit authority and take a little ride through Space Mountain and around Tomorrowland???

I used to love the Skyway!! ::yes:: It wasn't a very exciting ride, but you could get some great ariel shots from it!! :hyper:

I think Eastern Airlines also sponsored the ride "If You Had Wings". It was where the Buzz ride is now and when they used to take tickets for rides it was a freebie. Remember the song:

"If you had wings, had wings, had wings"

I loved that ride!!!!

We were very lucky to see COP when we were there last week. It was so cool to have our youngest go on it with us. He is 12 and he liked it so much that the on our last day he asked if we could go on it again. We also went on the people mover which was a first for him and he also enjoyed it alot.

I loved "if you had wings...if you had wings, had wings, had wings...."

Someday I am going to get out all my WDW pictures from years ago. I'm sure I have lots of photos of old stuff that I didn't appreciate back then!

from the Delta (If you had wings) attraction. I remember that I loved the feeling of flying when you went thru the tunnel. Melanie

The very first time we went to WDW, 12/71, I was 12 & my niece was 4. As she was walking along happilly, Pinocchio walked up next to her & put "his" hand in hers. The double take she did was a look I'll never forget.
