disney max camera

HELP My DD got the Disney max digital camera for XMAS. It was working fine and then we took out the SD memory card by accident. Thhe manual says it will automatically power off but my problem is now I can't get it to light up again. the green light is on but the camera won't do anything. Can anyone help????

Can't help because we put the batteries in my sons and closed the battery door and it exploded when we pushed the power button... sparks and screams ensued. Going back tomorrow.

OUCH!!! Maybe I should just go for the refund!! Was your son's the disney pix max or a character one?

it was the 1.3 mp mix pix camera

Ours is the 3.0 pixels. we put the batteries in and smoke came out. I changed the batteries, no smoke but it still smells. We're going to use and see what happens. Any body else have a problem?

My DD had no problems so far. She loves it. I hope the camera isn't going to be dangerous to use.

Same thing happened to us and we could not get it to work. We ended up taking it back for a refund.
