Disney Marathon - Resort Question

I am planning to run the Disney 1/2 Marathon in January 2006. Does anyone know how fast room book for that time period? I am wondering if I need to book now or if I can wait until it is closer?

Also, which resort would be the best? The start and finish line is at Epcot.

Not sure if its true or not, but I recently heard that the Poly was sold out already for the weekend of the marathon!

I stayed at CBR this year and no problems getting to the starting line. I had a friend in the race who was staying at All-Stars and was very late getting to the line due to a lack of busses. If money is not an issue, I would recommend the Contemp, GR, or if its not sold out, the Poly. You can take the monorail to and from the start!
