Disney Magic March 31st 2016(3day)

Sorry but I am new and don't understand what you need me to do? Post 8 more messages?

Thank you

The poster means that they want to message you the information for the fish extender but are unable to do so since you only have three posts so far. You need to get your post count up to 10 and they will invite you.

I am on this cruise too but haven't posted before now.

Looking forwards to this cruise. I am traveling with my parents, husband and sister (her kids are in college and her husband is working). We are all adults and have travelled on the various cruise lines. This will be my parents's sixth, my fifth, my husband's third and my sister's first Disney cruise. I am excited for my sister to take a Disney cruise and hopes she likes Disney as much as we all do.

Wow that's a lot of cruising experience! I am taking my wife as a birthday present fot her. This is our first cruise. It is also our first vacation without the kids in 18 years.

Also, any advice you guys want to give for first time newbie and for a couple traveling without kids (still getting used to saying that, sound weird) would be ever so welcome. Hope to see you guys aboard ship!

I love Disney as an adults only cruise. Two of my DCL have been adults only, my honeymoon and my Easter cruise last year. I took my niece on my first Disney and travelled with my parents and brother's family on my second. So the past two were just my husband and myself and we had a blast! I actually prefer Disney to the other cruiselines for just the two of us.

I love the animation classes and trivia so if you decide to go to either of those you will probably see us there. I have heard great reviews of the show Tangled which is new since the last time I was on the Magic. I plan to hit O'Gills that night as it is changed into the Snuggly Duckling.

My husband and I enjoyed the Aquadunk slide too. You might want to try it if you like scary water slides. If you want your pictures taken with the Frozen characters or the princesses, check the Navigator the first day for the ticket distribution. You won't need tickets for the other characters. We are also considering doing a mixology class for the first time as I think my sister will enjoy it. Check the Navigator out for the sign ups for this as well if this is something that interests you.

Also, if you haven't downloaded the Disney cruise app yet, make sure to do so.

I also love Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay which is the adults only section. My husband and I went on our Dream cruise last year and it wasn't crowded like the family beach. I am hoping we can do it this time. It all depends if my parents are up to walking and taking the trams to get there as mobility is an issue for them.

Thanks for the great advice I have downloaded the app and I am a little bit of a trivia buff so I might see you there.

The animation class and the mixology class sounds like a lot of fun. Will check them out.

We both love shows so we'll definitely see that. We took the family to Disney World over Christmas so we have some very recent pictures with Anna and Elsa. Compared to the photo package at Disney World the cruise photos seem very expensive. But I'm sure we'll get a lot of pictures on our own camera anyway.

It is my wife's birthday today and I couldn't keep this a secret so I told her about it weeks ago. We are both super excited for the trip and hopefully we'll see you on board.

I don't blame you. I booked our summer one last year as a Christmas gift to my husband and couldn't wait to tell him on Christmas.:-)

Happy Birthday to your wife! Hope to see you onboard too. It is going to be a blast.

You can still send a private message to somebody with less than 10 posts, they just can't reply.

Not so. Just tried it and got the error:

Hmm, wonder if being a moderator means I don't have those same restrictions then. If you would like to PM me the details, I am happy to pass them on to @SCTanis

2nd Disney cruise. First time on the Magic. Looking for a Fish Extender group for 3/31/16 sailing. Didn't have the opportunity to do this on our first cruise. Does anyone have any information? Thanks!

According to this post, there is a contact for a FE group here:

I have started the FE conversation and sent out invites to tidefan and Stephanie Dowling. Yllom I couldn't message you. I think your thread count is too low. Let me know if you got in on the other group or not.

Anyone can PM me or post here and I will add them to the FE conversation.

Hi Fergierx. I would be happy to invite you to the Fish Extenders conversation but currently you have less than 10 posts. Disboards is set up to only allow members who have 10 or more posts to be part of private conversations. Any new post or reply to an existing post counts toward this total. Bring your post count up to 10 and I will invite you to the Fish Extenders conversation.

For everyone's information I will be closing the Fish Extenders group to new members on the 16th, as that is two weeks from the sail date.

Welcome to the group!

Well I gave a couple extra days to give time for those posts, but I must now announce that the fish extenders group has closed. If you still want to get in on "fairy dust" status we will see what we can do, no promises or expectations set. Remember, you must have a post count of 10 to get into the private conversation.

Super excited for the cruise tho. Got a reservation for Palo and a spa trip for the wife. Can't wait to get on board!

Looks like you have some great things planned.

We are a family of 4 with two girls, 15 and 12. The girls are excited but concerned that they can't hang out in the same youth areas. I see we have missed the fish extender group. Is there anything else we can get involved with at this late date? The wife and I have cruised several times but not with Disney, it is the first cruise for the girls.
