Yes. But I have neve gotten a character from those. The odds are ridiculously poor these days.

Got Rafiki in the Level 100 LC, so that was nice. Now have 7/10 Lion King characters.

Did the chain offer for Dreamland. So in the 4 LCs, got 2 attractions, one concession and one decoration. Not terrible even though I did need characters too.

I dropped DMK a few months ago in favor of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Just dropped in to say Gameloft is screwing that one up too now. They just launched a new expansion and it is so glitch filled it's not even funny. I was hoping for better results for a paid game, but alas, they continue to thwart me.

Cut them some slack. They're brand new to the industry. I think they've only released like one-and-a-half games so far, so something like that.

Unfortunately I missed redeeming all of the codes. I just got back from a 7-night Merry Time Cruise on the Disney Treasure. I wasn't interested in the watch party of the 100 updates and failed to notice they were doing these redemption codes. Oh well. Hope everyone who redeemed them got some good items.

My codes were all nothings.

Question for everyone... do you guys like when they hold events over a big holiday? My preference would be that they don't hold events over holidays, as I find it harder to find time to log in because I am busy with festivities, and preparation. But someone suggested to me that events on holidays are good for those players that are not able to spend their holiday with friends and/or family. What do you guys think?

I totally get what you are saying regarding the holidays. At this point in my life, I fall more into the later category. One reason I decided to take a 7-night cruise over Thanksgiving by myself. If DCL didn't offer the internet package like they do now, I probably would have been so far behind in this event.

One thing to remember about this game and most other mobile-based games, they are not exclusively for a single country/region. As such, as a game developer, if I had to map out events based on some global calendar of holidays, that would be very complicated. While we in the U.S. celebrate Thanksgiving, the same week in other countries is just a normal week in the Fall (or Spring if south of the Equator). I work in a world-wide software support organization and my teams have to schedule for holidays around the globe. I never knew that May 1st was a big holiday for most countries in the world, except in Canada and the U.S. We celebrate our Labor Day in September.

So while I totally get your sentiment and thoughts here, from a practicality perspective, I just see it very difficult to execute.

Very valid point about the international aspect. It makes me wonder how much the game is played in other parts of the world.

I got a couple of minor characters, but since they were from my favorite Disney decade (see username for a hint), I was happy with the codes. I got Ms. Potts and Sebastian!
I was also happy for a way to redeem them via a ******* link because I've had no luck getting a Gameloft account to sync up inside the mobile game.
