Disney Magic Kingdoms

Got Becky last night...season is over for me. Just in time for the Mega Event today.

Pre-event update for me:

Burn-E Level 7
German Caterpillar Level 9, Dot Level 9, Hopper Level 8
Anita Level 8, Roger Level 4, Freckles Level 9

Season Pass 149 (400 points from Becky) so I'll cross that finish line today with the new event/new weekly tasks.

Season - only on level 133, but barring anything majorly unexpected, should welcome Becky during this Mega Event.

If it's still active, the most likely issue is entering the player ID correctly. It appears briefly while fully loading the game with the splash screen, comprised of "mdc:" plus the following numbers and letters (both the sample ID on that page and my own ID start with "mdc:", so I assume they all do, but I don't know that.) But you need all of that before the colon and after the colo
It seemed to take my ID and code. Is the chest supposed to just pop up in the game or do you have to go find it?

It is under the progressive purchase activity located with a button on the right side of the screen.
Ah! Thank you for that. Figured I was just Charlie Brown again.

Now will someone please explain to me why the Barnstormer is going for 750 gems? On sale even?! There has got to be something I am missing

Thanks to everyone who answered re: the float. :)

Also got the Barnstormer...it was something I didn't have already, oddly. Got it enchanting to 2 now. Building the 3 Little Pigs' House...it'll be done in about five hours. Just plugging away at this event and stockpiling currency and tokens while waiting for Fiddler Pig to unlock.

750!!! Wowsa. Won’t pay that for any one thing ( and definitely not for some thing I used to have). But can’t remember how I got it before.

Yah. I have the gems to cover it. But, I literally have just enough gems to cover it. Not sure why it is marked up so high except to try to deplete our gem storage. Hoping it comes around again some time as a special reward, or as some other flash sale marking it maybe just a teensy but less

My theory is that it is marked up so high (1000 "normal" price) because they know that the completers out there will pay for it.

It seems that we have hit another one of those "big changes" in difficulty (and cost) levels for the game. They happen every so often where the changes are dramatic and pretty sudden. The first one that I recall was in the Cri-Kee Mulan event - where it was basically impossible to finish without having spent money on it (or on a crap load of gems to buy your way to completion). Before that, I'd been able to finish all the events either without any premium characters or with only one of the two (remember, back in the 7 character events...). But changed with this one.

And it has changed again now, with the changes in how LC odds work (I know that most of you wouldn't see that change, as you already have all of the good stuff you can get from LCs, like characters and attractions). But now, the characters and attractions have much lower odds than the crap does - so a common bench could be twice the odds of a common character in the same LC. And this very much pisses me off.

And now you add a gem attraction that, even on "sale" for 25% off, costs 2.5 TIMES the next most expensive gem attraction.

So, what is it? It is greed and experimenting about what you will pay for.

The Barnstormer is an attraction released with Dumbo Update on 19th March 2019.

I read this on Wiki, so I bet that’s when some of you got it.

I’m a bit short on gems after getting Little Red and the float, but now way will I pay 750 gems for it.
I’m wondering, but of course I don’t know, if it was a gem cost attraction in that update? I never spent a dime on this game until the pass stuff started. It was either I had the gems or I didn’t. Thinking this must have fallen in that category as I certainly was playing during that time
