It's really too bad when 1 or 2 people ruin a trip for everybody else with their bad attitude. Lesson learned!

See, I was going for the sharing the magic thing! it didn't work out well this time! We all stayed at Kidani with our points! Luckily, SIL and BIL wanted their own room! I had thought about getting a grand villa! It would have been that much if we had all stayed in the same room!

Good thing you didn't!


We took my sister, her DH and their 3 kids in January of 2010 and it was FABULOUS! We had such a great time!!! So much so that my sister and nieces are joining DD for DD's surprise birthday trip next month!! Girls only! It's going to be so much fun! 24 days!!!

We stayed at Kidani (our home resort) in September and we are staying there again in May. I think we might overlap a day or two on our dates. We will be there 5/3-5/11.

It was interesting! Bad attitudes are not something that should be taken to Disney World!

We stayed at Kidani (our home resort) in September and we are staying there again in May. I think we might overlap a day or two on our dates. We will be there 5/3-5/11.

We do! I come home the 4th! I'm going with 5 other fabulous Dis ladies! We should try to meet up!

Day one! I know I said that this report was going to be more pictures, less words. It will be! But this installment will be a little short on pics because I failed to take a lot of pictures the first day! Sorry!

Anyway, Normally we leave for WDW on the first flight to MCO from our small, local airport! Normally that flight leaves between 6:30 am – 7:30 am. But on this day the flight didn’t leave until 8:45! That meant a little extra sleep before heading off to the world!

After an uneventful flight and an uneventful long wait for DME me, DH, DD, DS8, DS3, MIL and FIL were off Kidani Village! I had done online check-in and, unlike our October trip, checking in at the resort was a quick, easy process! And our room was ready! Woo hoo!

We went to our room, dropped off our carry-ons, checked out the room and checked out the room! It was, of course, as beautiful as we remember and MIL and FIL were very impressed!

Then it was off to MK!

Is it a bad sign when you start off a trip with your DS3 knocking over his stroller with himself in it and hitting his head on the sidewalk?! If it is we should have considered calling it quits then! YIKES!

Poor baby! We’re not even sure how it happened! No one was touching the stroller, the kids weren’t fooling around, DS3 wasn’t fidgeting in the stroller! The only we can think is that he may have pushed with his foot on the bench next to him knocking himself the other way. It all happened very fast! But, he wasn’t hurt, just scared!

After a few tears and lots of hugs and kisses we were off to MK on the bus!

We were all very excited to be in WDW!!

First stop in MK was guest services to pick up new AP’s for DD and I! Of course, we waited on an insane line! We must have waited 40 minutes!

But soon we were walking right up the middle of Main Street! Next stop was Casey’s for lunch! Hot dogs for everyone else but me! I decided to try Corn Dog nuggets! A tragedy occurred! I didn’t particularly care for them!!! But I think they were over cooked or something! The outside was a very dark brown, not golden color! I will have to try again at some point!

After lunch we were off to Tomorrowland!



Those of you who have followed my TR’s in the past know my DH is completely obsessed with Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin! So we stopped there first to get FP!

Then we headed off to COP! After that we decided to head into Fantasyland! The kids were very intrigued by all the construction walls and what they could see being done over them!

We ended up walking straight through Fantasyland because it was mobbed! We tried HM, no luck! Something like a 50 minute wait!! YIKES!

DS8 mentioned he like to ride pirates so we headed that direction! DD and MIL decided take a little rest and do a little shopping instead of riding pirates!

We waited awhile, something like 30 minutes, and then enjoyed our ride! DS3, Ryan, was a little apprehensive about the ride, especially after the drop. But the one of the many things I learned this trip was that when DS3 is apprehensive he usually comes out loving it in the end! This was no different!

After pirates we decided to head over to use our Buzz FP!! We had a fabulous time defeating Zurg!

Then it was about time to head over to CR for our ADR at Chef Mickey’s! Our ADR was for 6:25. SIL knew what time the ADR was and knew they should be there by 6. We got there shortly before 6 and the waiting began!

We browsed the shops, made a few small purchases, looked around, admired the gingerbread tree



At 6:25 MIL, who was now fuming mad, called SIL. They were on the way but not sure of an ETA. They had driven to FL and were on the road, just not sure where! So we sat and waited some more!

At about 6:40 DH, who was now also fuming mad, suggested I go ask the Chef Mickey CM at the desk about checking in without them. Just as I was almost finished speaking to the CM DH texted me that they had finally arrived! So I checked in!

We got our picture taken and were seated within 5 minutes! Thank god!

We enjoyed our dinner and Alexis, SIL’s little one, enjoyed meeting the characters somewhat, as long as they didn’t try to reach for her!

After our dinner we all decided to skip WDW transportation! SIL, BIL, the baby, MIL, myself and the 3 kids crammed into SIL’s Tahoe with MIL and I riding in the trunk and FIL and DH took a cab!

Soon we were back at Kidani!

The tree in the lobby was beautiful!


We hung out in our comfy room and got ready for bed and hit the pillow with dreams of day 2 dancing in our heads! ​

Be good to see if there's anything l can learn from your trip that will hopefully make mine go a bit smoother.

I feel like I haven't seen pictures of your kids in forever. They are so cute! Great pictures at Chef Mickeys! And Alexis is so cute. Too bad you had to wait for everyone to arrive for dinner. Oh well. At least everyone arrived safe and sound.

Well, so far things seem peaceful! I am waiting for the drama to begin!

Well the first day doesn't sound too bad...but I can't stand waiting for people that are late. Huge pet peeve of mine. My DH and I are always ridicuously early for anything.

I tried to let it roll off my back, MIL and DH were mad enough for all of us! I just wanted dinner and I know the kiddos were get anxious!

LOL!! We were all stuffed into that car like sardines! But at that point we were tired and it was getting chilly! We just wanted to be back in our room, not taking the bus!

Yeah, Chef Mickey's is one of those meals that I like to think is more about the experience! We have a fabulous time there, my kiddos got to do the opening ceremony on trip! But, the food is standard disney buffet, just ehh!
