Disney magic at home? - Moved from Disney Tips folder

DSis and I returned from our first trip to WDW about three weeks ago. Mom has never been. The three of us usually have a girls' movie night every Sunday, but DSis and I decided to let Mom in on some of the Disney magic and have a "Disney Night" sometime within the next few weeks. We're going to rent the Disneyland Fun sing-a-long video (yeah I know...I'm an adult, but it's still fun to watch and recognize the rides), play the Magic Kingdom board game we bought...any other ideas?

I'm getting a Mickey waffle maker so we can have waffles for dinner. I'm also going to figure out how to make Dole Whips and have those for dessert. I could kick myself now for not buying some of Goofy's Company Co. candy but things got crazy at the end of our trip.

Pineapple Dole Whip
Adventureland

Ingredients:
2 cans (20 oz. each) DOLE Crushed Pineapple
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/3 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped

Instructions:

Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons juice. Set aside.

Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice in blender or food processor container. Cover; blend until smooth.

Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags. Store bags flat in freezer. Freeze 1-1/2 hours or until slushy.

Stir pineapple slush gently into whipped cream until slightly blended, in large bowl.

Return to freezer until completely frozen, about 1 hour and serve.
