Hi Everyone!

I'm Jackie and I am super excited to be joining this group! I'm from the Chicago suburbs I'll be sailing with my DH Kevin as well as my in-laws and BIL in the cabin next to us. They aren't on DIS but I definitely want to participate in the FE's! (I'm trying to get my MIL to join.) We originally booked a transatlantic trip for just my DH and I during our honeymoon cruise in August but convinced my in-laws that they need to do a vacation.....so we changed it to spring break. I'm also a craft-aholic!!

I've also got a PTR going if anyone wants to check it out!

How is everyone holding up for these crazy holidays??? I am so ready for tomorrow!!!! I am working today and Thursday- so been busy getting everything together. Trying to enjoy the day. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Now that the holidays are over (lets face it, once the gifts have been unwrapped, the holidays are over), let the countdown begin to our cruise.

Luckily our car trip down 95 wont be too bad. We'll probably be arriving late on Sat. Sunday is our "relax" day, so thinking about trying to get in a round at a nice local course.

Looking forward to seeing everyone either ahead of time or on board.

I know, I have been thinking about that too. We will also be arriving late Saturday night, thinking we are just gonna hang out around the port area on Sunday. We got our reservations for our hotel already- staying at Country Inn and Suites there. We have stayed before- and it was nice.

Well everyone, I believe we've decided to postpone our cruise. We are vacation club members and are paying for that so we've decided to use our points during spring break and go to Disney World instead. Y'all have a wonderful time! I am pretty sad about missing this cruise, but at least we'll get to see Mickey anyway! Have fun!

I hope the activity level increases in our thread and more people join the FE. I also paid the balance of my cruise a couple of days ago. On Monday I can start booking stuff.

Thanks!!! You too!!! I have to wait until Jan 14. I am not Gold yet, this is my 5th cruise, so I will be after this one.

Sorry to see a couple folks changed plans, but excited to see some new faces, too. Almost into double digit # of days until our trip!
I guess concierge and/or platinum are plentiful on this cruise b/c at midnight I tried to get a cabana and all the FB ones are already gone. There were 2 on SB still available ... Hopefully that helps someone!
We were able to get Palo brunch which I am excited about so it was worth staying up.

Is anybody planning on rebooking onboard? I am trying to convince DH to do it, I want to be a Grand Slam member, still have the Fantasy to do.

We are not planning on booking this time, mainly b/c u now have to sail within 18 months of original date instead of being able to move the date a time or two while still keeping on-board booking benefits. We were on the fantasy in August and it was AWESOME! You will love her!

We snatched up one of the cabanas on Serenity Bay last night! I was really surprised that 2 were still available! Still one left for someone! I guess Palo brunch is going to be very popular on this cruise. There were very limited times when I reserved ours...

We are not planning on booking this time, mainly b/c u now have to sail within 18 months of original date instead of being able to move the date a time or two while still keeping on-board booking benefits. We were on the fantasy in August and it was AWESOME! You will love her!

We have done the Dream, and loved it, but I know the Fantasy has some extra stuff that the Dream didn't. Now with the new onboard booking stuff, have to research it some more, to see when we would go again.

We've done Palo dinner every cruise, but never brunch, so I'm excited!

Haven't done dinner yet, probably when DH and I do a cruise minus our DD- we will try it.

Would love to do a cabana at some point, not in our cards right now. I will be upset if we dont get Palo brunch, it's DH and my anniversary too-18 years.
