Posts have been removed from a number of Cruise Meets threads including this one.

PLEASE review the Cruise Meet Policy regarding Cruise Meet and Fish Extender programs. - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3353477

Links to Cruise Meet discussion/Fish Extenders other than those on the DIS may not be posted or offered by any other means (PM, email, "search" directions).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

Enjoy!

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Is the candy exchange any kind of candy we want to give? I just love chocolate! Lol

The idea of the Candy Exchange is to give candy of local or regional interest. On our last cruise, we did give "our" local chocolate candy, Ester Price! On our next cruise we are giving a Cincinnati confection. People do include a note from the Internet describing the candy.

My experience has been about 1/4 of the gifts have been chocolate, including Hershey, Ghiradelli, and other local manufacturers.

We have lots of time, and I would be willing to have a "preferred chocolate" group. I generally keep groups under 12 if possible, with 6-8 most often.

Bumping!

I am just curious, am I the only one on here who booked this cruise specifically for the Prem"ear" of the new Star Wars movie on the last night?

We will be on this cruise with our two kids. First time on the Magic and first Christmas cruise. We would be interested in ornament exchange and possibly candy.

I've been searching for info about Jamaica excursions and saw a post from you a few screens back. Now I can't find it so I'm rather :offtopic: for this thread for which I apologize, but we're practically cousins I think. My husband went to OSU and lived in Ocean city for a few years.

Anyway, if I can sneak a question in this thred, what excursion would you recommend in Jamaica for a fellow retiree?

Thanks.

Hi:wave2:
I have been to Jamaica only once. We went to tea at Good Hope estate. I have mobility problems, so I needed a mild activity, plus I enjoy teas. This was held on their lawn and was very good!

Thanks. That's one of the ones I was looking at. My husband and I have decided that we don't have to do the same excursions each day -- more to talk about at dinner, so I think I'll do the tea.

GatorMom, we're SOOO there for the Star Wars Movie Prem'ear' too!! Cannot wait :)

DisneyDiva, did you reserve a room before for the Ornament Exchange.

I think you will have more luck reserving a room closer to the cruise or even on the cruise. I tried doing it before our WBPC cruise and in the end I worked it out with Guest Relations on board. Before the cruise they mainly seemed interested in money making events.

I really am excited about the ornament exchange, it sounds like fun!

Bobbi:)

We will be joining you on this cruise with daughter, age 8. Looking forward to it. We had to cancel our May cruise on the fantasy due to my husband being in a terrible wreck.

I hope your husband is recovering fully.

We were on the Jan 4 Wonder Cruise...I just now had a delicious chocolate covered pretzel from Pittsburgh!:)

Hello! Just joined this site and not even sure if I'm posting correctly but here goes! I've been to WDW 25 times but this is my family's first Disney cruise and first cruise EVER! We are all so excited! And I'm enjoying getting to learn about a whole new Disney experience. There's four in our group: myself, my husband and daughters who will be 6 and 21 at cruise time. I am interested in the candy exchange and learning all about what to expect on a Disney cruise! :wave2:
