My husband thinks I'm crazy because I love DW so much. He's always saying,"Can't we go somewhere real for our next vacation?" And I guess next year, we will. But if we do, I'll still wish we were at the World.
I was trying to figure out exactly what it is I love about the place. Maybe iI love it because I have such happy childhood memories of going there or because everything is always so pretty and clean. But I don't think that it can be explained that easily. I think how I feel has more to do with the fact that I grew up watching and loving all those great old Disney films, where right always triumphed over wrong and true love always won out in the end. Now, we all know the world isn't really like that, but, gosh, don't you wish it was? I know I do. And when I'm at DW, it feels like the world really *is* like that or at least has the hope of being like that. Even if it's only for 7 days at the end of next month. (And maybe next year, too, if I play my cards right!)
I've only been on the board for a short while, but I suspect that many of you feel the same way I do.
Okay, I've rambled on long enough. Thanks for listening!
