Disney Liquidation Sale Celebration:
October 2nd 6:00 to 9:00pm,
October 3rd 8:00am to 6:00pm
October 4th 10:00am to 2:00pm
In the Celebration k-8 gym as usual.

damn, i come home the week before :(

I'm out there until the 3rd October, is this something that would be worth a trip? Is it something worth doing on your last day?

never hear of these before, are they good? what kind of stuff do they have?

Like any sale you can go and not get much other times you get loads, we went about 3 years ago, spent about $200 and got over $1,000 worth of stuff, we got pins, hats, books, cushions, soft toys, loads of stuff.
They hold them twice a year, Autumn and Spring. If I was there I wouldn't miss it.

We went for opening on the Friday evening, went back again for opening Saturday morning on way to airport, worth going twice.

Thanks, might try and check it out. I was thinking about going to see Celebration too anyway.

If you find teh school you won't miss the vans outside and the line of people, unless you get there early and to the front, there were about 20 in front of us got there about 45 mins to opening.
The 1st day(Friday) is 6pm not 6am.

Doh! We fly out at 9pm Friday night, do you think we'll be able to go and get to the airport in time??...We're hoping to check in before the day (online or at DD)...Never done this before but i'm assuming you just then need to make sure you get to airport and at your departure gate on time rather than three hours before the flight??...Am i pushing it a bit?

We came across it by chance in October, we were in Celebration that day anyway having lunch then a wander and we saw signs for it but didn't know how far away it was so I said just to forget it and go so we went back to the car as the kids were wet from the fountains but DH dove to it anyway and insisted we took a look.

We got there about 1.30pm and only had half an hour but DH initially wasn't impressed because he thought the signs said prices were at 70% but didn't see the 'off' bit of '70% off' :lmao:.

We grabbed what we could in the half an hour left (admittedly the kids got clothes for in about 4 years time :thumbsup2) but we picked up loads of other stuff so the total came to $300 but then off came the 70% and once converted to £ meant it only cost us £50!

I am definitely looking forward to going back and I will now and forever make sure my plan includes a visit to Celebration on one of these days.

Update....They have cancelled the sunday. so it now:
