Does anyone know if there are in Disney related legos and if they are sold in the parks? I know they have the lego shop in DTD but wasn't sure if that was something Disney sold. Thanks!!:goodvibes

No, there are no Disney lego sets (though that would be really cool!) I want to say at one point, Disney did have a contract with a block company other than Lego (can't remember which one) and did release various sets. Not sure if they still do though.

I'm being horribly vague, I know. Sorry.

I did not find any at DTD but I did find three sets at Toys r Us!

Thanks eveyone! I was going to get some legos for his birthday since he will be turning 5 while we are in Disney in July. We will just head to DTD for the lego store. :goodvibes

About 7 years ago I found several Mickey Mouse lego sets in the Disney Store 50% off. That was the last time I saw Disney Legos anywhere. You can probably find the older ones on E-bay.

While LEGO does not make any sets featuring Disney Characters or WDW, they do sell sets featuring Star Wars and also Indiana Jones. Since those films are featured in attractions at DHS, maybe your son would enjoy something like that? There are several smaller/simpler sets (mostly mini figs and just a simple vehicle to go with) that might be age appropriate.

Lego used to sell Winnie-the-Pooh sets but that's going back a few years. I guess they've discontinued those now.

My mom bought my nephew some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse "legos" at Toys r Us. They may have been Megablocks brand. They were the toddler size.

If they were the same ones we saw at TRU, they were Megabloks. I'm pretty sure Megabloks are the only "lego-type" company working with Disney these days.

This is a good question.

Do Mega Blocks work with Legos? I find my kids like to put those sets together a couple of times, then the blocks just get dumped into the huge Lego piece vat. I'm not really into the idea of starting another line of building blocks unless they work with Legos.

collect. Last year my younger son chose one that says "Orlando 2008". I don't think they had any that were specific Disney bricks, but he loves his little souvenir!

My son is very into Indiana Jones right now..I was hoping he could use his birthday gift card that Disney is giving out to get a nice set. I am assuming there is some kind of store that sells Indiana items. Even if it's not legos...
