If these are no longer going to be stocked?

I finally, after deliberating for weeks, purchased DD a laptop for her 10th birthday and now find that all the laptop cases are out of stock. I am sooooo :sad2: annoyed with myself.

I know Disney shopping had them featured a few weeks ago and I think ebay sellers snapped them up because there are tons listed on there but they want $14.99+ just for shipping. I thought Disneys $8.50 was bad :confused3

to iron on. I did that once with ariel for a bag for one of my DDs. It was really cute!

I have NOT seen the $8.50 laptop case, but I have to be honest. For that amount of money I would not trust it!

A good laptop case is not that cheap and you want a good one becasue in spite of what the sellers tell you these things require some padding and some babysitting! The cheap ones I have seen don't have much in the way of padding...... Kids are hard on these things make sure you get them in a good case! For a kid I would really recommend the backpack type. They seem easier for the kids to wear then the adult size briefcases and if they are 'wearing' it, it's a lot less likely to be set down and left!

I think she meant the 8.50 for shipping.....not the case. At least that is how I read it.

No I found the case on Disneyshopping. It was going for $7.... Just makes you wonder about the quality.

I have torn up more then one laptop in my day... Treat them carefully LOL! (I don't buy them my job does and they just "break" more then desktops!)

Holy Smokes $7 for the case???? I don't think I would be comfortable trusting a laptop in that either.

I actually purchased one of these and i am planning on sending it back. I want a little more protection for my laptop as I will be using it for travel. I think for a child to have it for around the house, trips to grandma's ect, this case would be fine. If you are interested in buying it from me for what I paid, it's yours! It is tan with mickey on it.

i have the black one and i think the quality is pretty good. i take it with me on disney trips (which is about the only time i use it). I have no need for compartments and pockets, but this case has a few and i think it is comparable to my non-disney laptop case that was alot more expensive.

but I really wanted the black one. My dd seems to get just as dirty as my ds so I am sure if I got a light colored bag it wouldn't look pretty for long.

I think I might by the generic bag and iron/glue on a mickey patch like another poster suggested. We actually have some patches we brought on our last trip that would work well. Thanks Trish :cool1: for that suggestion.

I bought 4 of the black ones and got them for about $11 each w/free shipping. The quality is pretty good, IMO (especially for $11!). There is a padded pocket to put the laptop in and another large pocket on the inside and several smaller "organizing" type pockets slots on the outside (but, under the flap). The flap has plastic buckles to keep it closed. We have a heavy leather laptop case w/wheels and I just gave away a heavy canvas case with wheels because neither are never used. They are too heavy for airline travel and they don't hold much stuff, again - IMO. I wanted some lighter weight cases and the Mickey ones are perfect. I'm very pleased with them so far. :thumbsup2

Shades...

You wouldn't have one that needs a new home, would you? :rolleyes1
Would gladly pay the $11 plus shipping.I have a dd who would be forever grateful

I agree with the quality of the Black case. It is pretty nice and has adequate padding and pockets.

Then I ordered the tan one and it is not the same. If you have a really small Laptop where you would have room to add more padding this bag may work.

Im sending my tan one back too.

My father has the black mickey bag. For questions about the quality, It didn't attending to me like it would abatement apart, accepting said that the band and bag did not accept the added that I am acclimated to seeing with laptop bags. So if you have a heavy laptop, that strap probably isn't going to do the trick. If you could pick up a spare strap with padding somewhere, it would help.

It's almost 5 years since the OP posted. She may have moved on to a new bag by now. If not, Disneyshopping has the mickey laptop bag for 17.99 plus 4.95 shipping right now.
