Disney is just not the same anymore!!!

I found out today it doesn't really matter if you know where they are b/c all that was left at 2pm (MK is recommended today b/c MNSSHH tonight) was barnstormer, little mermaid, speedway and dumbo. Was quite disappointed I couldn't snag PotC or Buzz.

I bet that with the park closing early for MNSSHP that people would snatch up the fewer FP+ offerings a lot earlier. Interesting...

I was just hoping there wouldn't be that big of crowds here today. I have splash, mine train and big thunder booked for Tue, but found out today one of my nephews doesn't like it. Not sure if we'll keep that one for tue or change out for buzz. Standing in a 40 min PotC line now. This is nuts.

I would have too. However if more people are using the fastpass system than before and some are trying to squeeze in extra rides before the park closes then I guess that it makes sense.

I wouldn't plan day of, but I bet there were some a few days ago.

You know, I bet a fair amount of this has to do with people being able to schedule FPs between 4 and 7 on party only tickets. I imagine that means those slots dry up quicker than usual.

That could be a lot of it. If we make it there this year I was planning on doing the same. Oh well.

Other than the fact that you might end up waiting longer at the kiosk than you would have waited for the ride you are scheduling?

As others have said can I get a FP for the kiosk.
There have been numerous comments about lines at FP+, they nature of it is there will be lines..people have to make a choice so it takes longer..

They couldn't figure our legacy either- One may not like it, but it's not technically difficult to learn to use the kiosk. They practically hold your hand thru the whole process.

I find it hard to believe there were people that could not figure out legacy - it does not get more simple than that. Insert ticket take ticket. Pretty simple. I know people that refuse to use email or even a cell phone, as as its too complicated...but they could use the legacy FP without issue

With the kisok they have to figure out what ride they actually want a FP+ for so you have to wait while they make their decision and regardless of how easy you say it is there are people that get confused by anything that high tech - especially with people waiting in line behind them.

All that being said if they ever get to the point when people can use the app to book the additional fast passes once you use your three up then this becomes a non-issue.
Of course at that point the infrastructure probably won;t be able to handle the traffic and we will be back at the kiosks again.

Damn. You're right. I'm looking at that TouringPlans FP availability page and it's slim pickings.

You should change parks and hop on over to Epcot - it looks like a few coveted Captain EO spots are still available

If you haven't already do yourselves a favor a visit Disneyland next time. Cars Land is awesome and will renew your faith in what Disney can do. I agree with many of the negative posts here and if Disneyworld does get with the program and start making some improvements then they are going to fall further behind and start playing second fiddle to their California cousin.

Rubbing each other's backs.Comforting one another so they don,t feel bad about their constant bashing of the new system which in a nutshell just spreads the passes evenly to ALL of Disneys guest and they just can,t stand that. Their ability to COMPETE with their fellow vacationers has been hampered and now they don,t know if they WON or LOST their vacation. Because that's what vacation is all about. Right? WINNING. Beating out their fellow vacationers to prove they are the real hardcore Disney fans. As others have stated before FP+ has cut down on the running/competing of guest. This semi aggressive behavior never had a place in Disney IMO and I for one am glad some of it is now gone. I,m sure I will take a lot of heat for this post which is just my opinion. Oh well! I am willing to take the hits to voice how I feel.
