Disney inspired nails for vacation

Well I finally did mine with my friend last night at 11pm... so a little shaky ha! ha! and I just noticed that one of my Mickey's ear is out of whack ha! so I will have to touch that up... it happened when I put one the clear... funny!

I did these with the Nail Art pens from Walgreens for our March trip I made a hidden Mickey on my right pinky nail

i have my nails done with mickey and minnie balloons everytime we go to Disney World. My friend does my nails and she has done this same design 4 times and will be doing it again for me in september when we go again. I took these pictures in January with my cell phone so the quality isnt that great.

normally my nails are longer but this time i had them short. What i do here is we put a layer of clear glitter acrylic on the nail and then we airbrush the mickey head ballons on. We then paint the red bow on by hand and once they are dry, we put a thin layer of clear glitter over the whole nail to give a sparkle and confetti look. then we finish it off with a top coat. I have gotten so many compliments on them when i am in the parks and i adore how they look.

Goodness! Are you ambidextrous? Those are incredible! My sisters and I are going for Christmas and we decided to wear pretty winter dresses and coats. any christmas nail ideas?

Vikalamode, when my daughter sees your nails she is going to insist I do hers the exact same way. Adorable.

K10vodka...how do they do the airbrush? Did you make a stencil or something to go by? I think they are so fun! I love how they look like they have confetti all around.

I dont know if I mentioned this in a previouse post or not (My brain is mush this summer) but the kiss nails are amazing! They look like a profesional Mani! and very easy to do and last a LONG time about 2 weeks. and they are only 5 bucks!

I LOve all the picks you ladies are very talented!

I got an idea from another list. Stickers. Hobby Lobby sells mickey head stickers on a clear sheet. The stickers are red heads and black heads. I painted my toes black and put a red sticker on my big toes. They turned out very cute. And have lasted about 3 weeks now after 2 showers a day. I will post a picture tomorrow.

I am doing the decals too, got 5 pkgs on ebay for $6. not too bad. I have 3 DD's and was thinking of getting their nails done but, we are doing BBB...so want to save some cash!

Love looking at the pics! I know it is silly, but this kind of stuff gets me exited for my trip...it is all those special little extras you do JUST FOR DISNEY!!! Kind of like the stuff you only do for Christmas, that same kind of feeling when I am Christmas decorating or shopping. KWIM?

Kiss nails are fake press on nails that you fit to your hand then glue down, break the tab of the top and file the nib thats left and you have a PERFECT manicure- and every one will ask who did your nails. They look amazing! I buy the shorter ones so they arnt so fakey looking.hope that helps

thanks! we got lots of compliments from CMs and characters (princesses mainly). Mickey and Minnie loved it. Donald on the other hand wasn't too pleased... he wanted his face on our nails!
