Disney in November???

Hi gals!
So who all will be in Disney in November?
As you can tell by the bottom of my posts we will be there from November 7-18!! I wouldn't mind to get together to have a quick drink with whoever happens to be there at that time! I think it would be neat to meet some of my fellow scrappers here-put a face to a name! I know the folks on some of the boards organize meets for themselves but I seem to spend most of my time right here! Not thinking anything elaborate-just meet up if we can! We do disney commando style-parks alllll day long!! But evenings are fair game!

I'll be there the 9-16th. My schedule is pretty hectic, I've been planning for months now, but let me know when and where. If at all possible I'd love to have a drink too! We're staying at BCV, so most of the evenings we'll be close to the Boardwalk.

I'm only going to be there for a few days, 11.1-3. I'm meeting a girlfriend for a scrapbook convention in Orlando-- you guys should up your trip a few days to catch it! It's a pretty big one, and I'm very excited as I've never been to a convention before.

The main purpose of my trip is the SB convention, but of course I'm going to take in the new SB store at DD and take a trip around the world to enjoy the Food and Wine Festival while we're there. Can't wait!!

We only live about 40 miles away. So we get there quite often. My husband works near Disney almost everyday. I too will be going to the Memories convention. But maybe I will come back up while you guys are there.

We are a sad bunch we moved back to FLordia (lived here most of my life) to be closer to my parents, and the only place we ever go on vacation, Disney World!

The Orlando Expo is the best. We went last year and tacked on an extra few days for Disney. We would like to go again this year but it doesn't look like it will work out. I can't think of a better combination..... Scrapbook Expo and Disney World.

Ohh I heard about the scrapping convention-sounds like so much fun!! I bet it will be huge,wish I could go but we don't arrive until the 7th! You guys will have to give us a full report!

I will be there with my DH, & 2 DS the 11th to the 17th of November, I don't drink ( in front of the kids) but I would love to meet up anyway!

LOL I don't really drink either- Most times just a iced tea or a lemonade!! I don't mind a cocunut rum every now and them though or a margarita!

Well it looks like there will be a few of us at disney at the same time-who would've guessed! Perhaps when the time rolls nearer and people have an idea of what they are doing and when they may have a free hour we can try come up with a time that would be okay for all of us!

Valerie--you are soooo lucky to live so close to disney!! Do you get to go often?

Great minds must think alike Grover, I was just thinking about this post today while I was at the gym. Trying to figure out a way to meet. I think the best way would be for anyone interested to put their free time down and then collectively we could see if anyone has a match. What do you say? I already have my schedule so I'll go first:
Sun 11/10 evening near Boardwalk or Epcot
Mon 11/11 between 10-12 near GF, Poly or MK
Wed 11/13 between 1:3-3 near Boardwalk or Epcot
Fri 11/15 afternoon or evening
I would love to meet up for a drink or dessert somewhere, but if it doesn't work out we need plan #2. Let's all plan a scrapbook long weekend at Disney World! Now that would be fun!

Good thinking Pammy Jo! I don't have my schedule yet as I am waiting for the hours to come out. I think the evenings other than the weekends(fri-sat) are pretty quiet though right? Epcot is usually open to 9pm each night right? I am also planning some time at downtown disney so that may be a option as well. What do the rest of you have planned? I don't think we will be at our resort during the day! Only 85 days till our departure-I can't wait!!

Hi, I'm new to this board. We will be at WDW from Nov. 3-11. We'll be staying at the Beach Club Villas, so it would be fairly easy for us (or me) to hook up with someone at Epcot, or even at another park if it fits with the schedule once we've planned the schedule.

There is a chance we may not go, or may not be there as long as we'd originally planned, due to strapped finances. At least with the DVC we dont' have to worry about paying for the room; but there is airfare and food and souvenirs that really add up for a family of 7.

So maybe as the dates get closer we can try to coordinate something!

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I have been actively scrapbooking since about Nov. of 2000. I have managed to almost catch up on our various Disney vacations (DL '86, '88, '99 and WDW '91, '94, '97 and 2000), except for the most recent trip to Disneyland in Aug. 2001.

Other than that I scrap randomly, whatever I feel inspired to scrap on any given day.

I also participate in a lot of swaps, including any Disney swap I can find. It is so helpful to have all these supplies on hand to help with the pages!

We figured Nov. would be a good not-too-hot and hopefully not-too-crowded time to go. Plus with all the school days off, we are starting our vacation on Friday the 1st and returning on Monday the 11th and only missing 5 days of school. We're staying at Holiday Inn Family Suites for the first 3 days of our trip so we can go to Universal.

Grover- I do get to Disney quite often. We were going to go today because the boys start school tomorrow. But it looks like rain. We went last friday for a few hours and ate at Chef Mickey's. We are soo lucky to be close to the place we love the best!!!! Of course we do have to put up with this hot weather and bugs as the downside! but I'll take it.
