Disney in May, busy?

We are planning our first trip to Disney and we are very excited. The last week of May is listed as a less busy time. Is this true? Can you share your experience? We would go from Memorial day to the 1st of June. Thanks!

That's the week we go every year and its AWESOME!!!! The crowds are a little thick that first weekend, but by Tues the parks are wonderful and light.

We just love to be there in early May, no crowds, cheap prices!
