We will be at the PolyCL from 8/9 - 8/16! Celebrating our 6th wedding anniv.!!! Can't wait!:dance3:

We'll be at Beach Club 8/23 - 9/1
Our second time returning back to BC:cool1:
We all love August & Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

we are going Aug 6- Aug 11. This is the first time we will be taking our DD 4 and DD1. I have been reading and everyone says August is a 9 in crowds (10 being the worst). Those of you who have gone, what are your experiences? Is it really, really bad?

What about showers?

the beginning of August is kind of like July - very busy. But mid to end of August is actually one of the slowest times in Disney...The tour groups are gone by then and a lot of the Florida schools and other areas start in late August. I always go end of August and I absolutely love it!

We'll be there the 5th to the 12; last year it was the 13th to the 18th.

Last year, we didn't wait more than 20 minutes for any ride except Toy Story Mania. And that was my fault; I got us to DHS at 12:30. (I will never make that mistake again!!!)

That said, I did a lot of homework ahead of time. I knew which rides we wanted to hit before the crowds piled into the parks.

As to the rain: hit your local dollar store or Walmart and stock up on disposable rain ponchos. Then pray for some rain. It keeps lots of people out of the parks and really doesn't impact on your touring at all. The BEST day last year was the day TS Faye arrived; the Magic Kingdom was empty!! (That said, trip insurance isn't a bad idea :) )

What really saved our trip last year was MistyMate Misters. They're the size of an electric toothbrush, so I carried 3-4 of them with me each day. They made SUCH a difference in our comfort level!!! And since they work by pump, there are no battery headaches!
