Disney Hotels Sold Our 10-10 thru 10-14 - Is that possible???

I was checking the site for a quick trip from 10-10 thru 10-14 and then only place that shows up are the villas at the Grand Floridian. If this is correct, October is going to be a nightmare and I do not mean for the Halloween season either. I was looking for other Diser's feedback if they are seeing the same. I may delay our trip a year but this is crazy!!!

These are my exact dates. It’s our Fall Break (Atlanta). I booked when the AP discounts came out and had only a few options. I’ve been checking daily and every day there’s been fewer options. The other day one room category at POR opened up. But, otherwise, it’s been sold out for a few weeks.

We’ve traveled Columbus Day weekend 5 times and it is unbelievably busy. IMHO, busier than Spring Break, Labor Day and July and as busy as Memorial Day.

I expect it to be busy as many Europeans have their 3 week vacation and many US schools have a fall break. I assume this is why Disney blocked Oct from the free dining promo.
