We will be visiting DL in June for a couple of days. We have been pricing out different hotels and tickets. We saw that they are running a special for times out to April. Does anyone know if they usually offer discounts for the summer. We can stay at a Good Neighbor Hotel but would love to get on property if we could get a good discount.

Thanks!

last summer the hotels at disneyland resort did a 5 nights for the price of 3 deal. That hasn't been released yet--and if it is going to happen again, the promotion will probably be released in spring (I think around April).

I am looking for one as well, but so far nothing...they have to get through this lastest promotion for spring visits first.

I was going to say that too.

Did they have anything like a percent off? We are only going to be there two nights.

I can't really remember about a percent off. I think that is more common in the winter/spring months--and then in the summer they want to get you in there for more nights so that is why they offer the "5 for 3".

Last summer we didn't want to stay for 5, so I didn't use it--but I did find a deal on the Disneyland Hotel thru expedia.com. This deal wouldn't have been available months ahead of time--it was 2 weeks prior to our travel dates that I got it. I actually went to disney.com and looked for lodging at the DLH, and there was none available for our 2 week away vacation. I then started browsing around, and that is when I checked at Expedia.com, and found a upper view room at the Disneyland Hotel for 199.00. I then did a search for Expedia.com coupon codes, and came up with one that was 10% off, so we ended up getting the room for around 179.00 per night. The way this works is that the Disneyland Hotel waits until they think their rooms are unsellable--then dumps them for sale to places like Expedia.com other similar wholesalers of hotel rooms. We only got our room because they had extra rooms to sell from DLH. They weren't there the week before--telling me that they pop up a few weeks before your travel dates. Once I booked mine, I checked back a few days later at Expedia, and there were no dates listed for the Disneyland Hotel for my stay anymore--so I think they go fast.

Our trip last summer was at the end of July, and we stayed for 3 nights.

Thanks Lisa! That is good to know. I wouldn't have thought to check on expedia for disney. I didn't think that they would be on there. I'll have to keep watch as it gets closer. Right now we have Paradise Pier for $215 with a 10% AAA discount. I am hoping to get a little better than that.

We got an amazing deal last summer. We had originally booked at the DL hotel for 4 nights and then a great deal for I believe 30% or 40% off the hotel stay came up so we switched our reservations to the GCH. On top of that we were able to purchase the buy 3 days get 5 days park hopper. It looks like we might be heading back to DL this summer so I'm keeping my fingers crossed the same deal comes up. :goodvibes
