Disney Honeymoon Registry Problems

Ok, so I've been having so many problems with the Honeymoon Registry, anyone else?

When I created my registry in January 08 when I booked my Honeymoon cruise, I never recieved my card, then I had to ask to send a new card, basically I ended up with two cards, made sure I registered the right one and threw one away.

Fast Forward to this month, since my save the dates will go out soon with the disney wedding website, I wanted to make sure the registry was in good shape. So I log on and all my items are GONE! Not only that, but it still says I have to enter my card, so I enter my card and do it all again, then I can't change my wedding date. And of course your guests search by date when they look for your registry. So I had to call, and call, and call, and just could not get through on a Friday afternoon, Finally someone answers and helps me, now I can't change the date, but IT has to even though the option is there on the site.

Then I tried to print the little cards with my own message to give to my mom, Nope. Can't do that either!

So I call again, and it's still not fized, itstead the woman had to email me a powerpoint version of the cards, which of course I can't change now.:sad2:

Then my Mom wanted to buy something off the registry this weekend for my B-day, and it keeps saying her cart is empty?????:mad:

This is absolutely ridiculous! What do I do? Do I even bother with it? I really feel like it's so much work to keep up with it because they don't fix the problems, instead they do these quick band-aids fixes.

Any suggestions?:confused3
 
I haven't had quite the same issues, but it took several attempts and a phone call to initially create my registry. After that I was never able to actually add anything to it. So basically my registry is blank. I haven't tried to add items recently but got so frustrated I gave up for the time being. Maybe its because I'm on a mac, sometimes certain sites don't like the Safari browser. I think the registry is a good idea that just doesn't seem to have the right technology behind it. If its something you really want to have I would just keep calling and be persistent. I hope it works out for you!
 
I set ours up last month with no problems at all. It let me create it, add items and even change the reservation number.

Keep on at them and it will get sorted.
 
Yikes, thanks for the heads-up about the problems with the registry. Hopefully we won't have problems when we get ours up and running in a couple months. I hope they sort out all the problems you've been having!
 

I have had a lot of problems with the registry too. It hasn't let me do any type of customization on the site at all. It also has not let any of my guests purchase things. I have had three guests call me so far telling me they tried multiple times to buy things off the registry but kept getting different errors. One even called the number but they were unable to help. :confused3

I haven’t tried calling Disney yet because I am too busy with life in general to deal with it…and we have other registries that people can use if they want to get us something. But it is a pretty bad system if you ask me! :sad2:
 
The registry sucks. LOL

Plain and simple.

Disney really needs to get their act together and fix the problems. It's a great concept, but there's way too many things that break and make the site unusable.
 
I tried it earlier and some was working great but umm the otehrs werent working at all and tehn they made the ones that were working no t work .. uggh
