This one is one of my faves from this year. MONTHS leading up to this trip we talked about how a cinnamon roll at Main Street Bakery was FIRST on the agenda...it felt so good to be finally eating it:
Here's another, now you've got me on a roll! (I'd put them all in one thread, but photobucket is taking wayyyyy long to upload them!)
I love this pic. You can't see it, but my little girl is in a cast. She broke her leg 2 weeks to the day we were supposed to leave. We almost didn't go, but decided to give it a try. This was our first day, our first ride for her - she is soooooo happy - Daddy looks pretty happy too!)
That brought tears to my eyes - it reminded me of my Grandma, now gone also. My grandparents were big Disney fans - they would go by themselves and even took my grandma's elderly aunts once! (My grandparents were probably in their 70s, and the aunts in their 80s!) I wish I had pictures of my grandparents at WDW. Treasure this picture.
By the way, these pictures are making me cry! I love it!!! Last edited by mishkamushka; Yesterday at 09:14 PM. Reason: couldn't get it to work right!!! GRRR
DDs (then 4 and 7) had been given some "Mickey Head" pixie dust by a CM at the front gate and told to take it to the castle and make a wish. This was the result as they attempted to blow the dust out of their hot sticky little hands.
Funny story - the next morning DD4 woke up, sat up in bed at exclaimed "Aw SHUCKS. My wish didn't come true. I wished I would wake up a princess. I'm still here with YOU people."
This one melts my heart because DS (then 3) would simply NOT let go of Pooh. This was a solid minute after we got to him (there was no line behind us!) and he just wouldn't let go. It is even more special to me because the CM who is "Pooh's special friend he holds close inside" at this moment just happens to be one of my best friends from high school.
Here's my heart skip moment -- this was my then boyfriend (now husband) on our first trip -- last day, end of a PERFECT TRIP. I was just so happy. I can't wait to see it through my son's eyes this Christmas
These are from '03. My DDs were 5 and 7 then. This was their first trip. I can't find the one I really love of DD5 with lipstick from Cinderella on her cheek. She has such a look of awe. (we were still using film back then. The print is in the scrapbook, but I thought I'd scanned and uploaded it. Guess not)
These are from '07. The girls are 9 and 11:
We won dream Fastpasses!
(and yes, we got THAT wet riding Splash Mountain. It's never happened before or since)
All right, so this first one is at DLR and not at WDW, but it's my current favorite:
I also like this moment from one of the Visa meet and greets we did at Epcot, where Mickey unexpectedly picked her up and spun her around when she ran over to him:
And this one probably only works on me, but Big Al's been my favorite character since I was a little girl back in the Mesozoic era.
