Disney Golf Carts or Not?

You need to call Kenny. He only answers phone calls. We were there Jan 9-16. We had 4 carts from Kenny. When one member in our group was getting his cart from Kenny. A Person from Fort Wilderness came over yelling at Kenny telling him he was done delivering a took a picture of his license plate. Kenny just shook his head and still delivered carts to the other members in our party the next day and also picked up our carts without any problem. We love Kenny!!!
:cool1:

definetely need to call Kenny, not email. He is awesome and will do whatever to make his customers happy. As long as he can continue to deliver his carts, I will use him! he is awesome.:cool1:

We stayed there in July. We just walked everywhere. I didn't want to spend the money on a golf cart plus I needed the exercise after all the eating we did!

Eek - that's not good news. If anyone gets confirmation from Kenny that he can't deliver carts anymore, please be sure to let us know so we can update the golf cart post accordingly and give folks the heads up.

If that happens (fingers crossed it does not!) that will mean we'll likely rent from GCE in November and go pick up the cart with their rental trailer.

Really really hoping that doesn't end up being the case. :sad2:

I wonder if that happens if you could put Kenny on your reservation and he could bring it to you? I think Donnie had mentioned that. I would hate for that to happen.

Should work in theory, but not sure if anyone's ever actually done it. :confused3

I hope Kenny doesn't have problems. He sure get's the raves here. I just bought a cart to add to the pop up biz. Waiting for a back seat before I release it though. Hoping it get's some biz flowing.

I never got a return email from him. I read that it is better to call and not to email so, It may be best to take his email adress off the "Golf Cart Info" thread.

I hope that he dosen't get shut down by Disney. It sounds like he is a great guy and saves everyone a lot of money!

I talked to Kenny yesterday and rented a cart for our stay. Nice guy and no problems.

Good to hear! Kenny's a really nice guy, on top of providing great service at a super price. Definitely the kind of guy you could invite over for a beer and shoot the .......breeze with. ;)

We're staying at the cabins for a week in March and I've been pondering whether we should rent a cart, because, like this PP, I honestly don't want to add another expense to our budget. It's our first trip to WDW, so I'm thinking we'll be spending so much time in the parks, we won't get any real use out of a cart and that $250 will have been wasted.

Your thoughts.

If you're planning to spend most of your time in the parks and not hanging out at the Fort, you may not get enough use out of a GC to make it worth it.

However.... after you've walked 637 miles in the parks all day, I gotta say it's a beautiful thing to just hop on your cart and buzz back to your site without having to catch a bus or walk. :thumbsup2

We did several trips without a GC and it was just fine, but once we rented one a couple of years ago.... we'll never go back to not having a cart again. :rolleyes1

Does anyone know if Kenny is on vacation? I have called twice and he has not returned my calls. Need to rent a golf cart for this weekend!:yay:

Everybody always says Kenny gives great service but he sure is hard to get in touch with to get that service. Maybe he is in the Disney jail with TCD lol.

Yeah, once Kenny's got you on his radar he's ALL about making sure you're happy. But sometimes it's tough to get on that radar. Plus he's a one man show, so if something comes up it can make it even harder (thinking back to last summer when his dad was sick). Keep trying!

Spoke with Kenny and got a cart rented. He said that he has been swamped. I think this board is giving him alot of business. Super nice on the phone, hopefully all will go well!
