Disney giving surveys on new memory maker package

Interesting but why do so many people equate survey to change is coming?
They've asked me many times if I'd still travel if I couldn't use a Visa. At no time do I think they are giving serious thought to discontinuing accepting Visa

I agree...but it makes for interesting discussion on here lol

An interesting idea...I think for me it would depend on the price increase. At $250+, I'm not sure I'd be willing to shell out that kind of money for 360 video, a few pre-park opening pictures, and a special line. Now, if there were more special/exclusive characters, that might be different!

Survey's like this usually indicate they are looking at a change. Tiered pricing surveys went out before they went to tiered pricing for example.

Off topic, side note... Walmart in Canada will stop accepting Visa this year. Some Walmarts have already stopped.

Agreed. Not everything they survey gets put into effect, but enough of it does to get my attention when a new one comes about. They don't spend the money to conduct those surveys for no reason.

Why would I want a 360 degree video of character meets? I mean a simple video sure, but nothing that extreme is needed.

My point is everything included in a survey does not come to pass
Not that they never survey for a change
Just not clear on why every survey seems to generate a news story that "X" is going to be changing

I don't see where the article says that this survey means memory maker is going to change for sure. It's just more likely that it will with this survey.

As long as they don't make it mandatory I'm o.k. with it. I don't buy it now, I even have it "free" with my AP and don't use it, so it doesn't interest me.

Same here. Love the free memory maker included with our annual pass. I make my poor husband stop at every photo pass opportunity! I would reconsider getting an annual pass if it were not part of the package and have absolutely no interest in paying for the extra features being discussed.

My professional experience with high dollar changes to contracts and leaked news stories or things to show your serious about give me my price or I walk is just business. sports teams do it when they want a new stadium or a different price for their training camp location is another good example of this. let's not forget that amex was the card of choice prior to the chase visa arrangement so disney will change to whatever works best for them to make the most money.

I can't think of a survey that hasn't had something come true from it that wasn't a business move to get a third party to buckle.

Dispute over fees. Walmart is pushing Visa to lower the costs to the merchants. Visa won't budge. Walmart is probably one of the few companies that can really apply pressure on them.
Oh. If walmart does this, than other retailers are sure to follow.

I would probably pay the extra for shorter character line ups. Only if they somehow limited the number that was available each day, so it was truly a shorter wait... Not sure how they would ever accomplish that though.

I would pay for shorter lines and the exclusive 5-15 photos pre park openin "IF" 1. It is at every park (which would equal a photo package in all reality) and in prime locations. To get a picture of the whole family in front of the castle, without a ton of people in it would be really nice. Add in prime locations at other parks pre opening and I think it would be worth an extra 100$ because at that point we would skip the professional family photo package.

I would definitely consider this just for the PPO pics! And if they really had separate lines for characters I think I'd do it for sure. I don't understand the 360 video, though. And certainly do not need to see myself in such a video :lmao:.
