Awwwww... I'm so glad you are not feeling so overwhelmed anymore!! We are going to have a great time in January I just know it LOL!!! I can't wait!!! Your update made me smile and feel all warm and fuzzy inside LOL!! I have no idea where that picture is so I'm not even going to guess even though I was probably with you when you took it LOL!!

SO...I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think Sci Fi is going to be a no go...:rolleyes1

  10. Brown Derby
  11. 1900 Park Fare (We plan to still do that on departure day)

my choices...based on CP being closed, keeping one AK and one DHS and scrapping the siggies for cost/credit reasons. Getting rid of WCC, for transportation complications, BRG because I thought it was just "ok" and keeping 1900 because you said so...

:rotfl:

  1. Yak N' Yeti

I thought for sure Pizzafari but since that's out, I'm thinking somewhere in Toontown?

When I had to decide if I was going to postpone my vacation to December, it was nerve wracking constantly going back and forth. I'm glad you're happy with your decision. :goodvibes .... at least until those AP rates come out!

I really feel like I should know where this picture is. I was thinking AK, too. And they definately are pizzafari colors. I guess my next guess would be somewhere in Toontown, but I never spend much time there, so I'm pretty clueless when it comes to toontown.

As far as your ADR's.....Well I think Le Cellier is a no-brainer. who doesn't want to eat there????? And I know you guys love Les Chef. Personally, I would love to see you guys try Jiko because I haven't eaten there yet. The only others I haven't tried are Big River Grille and Yak n Yeti.

Glad you made a decision on your resort, but I KNOW those AP rates are coming and I wouldn't be surprised if you change your mind. popcorn::

Hurray for Pop and January hours! I loved Disney in January. Two thumbs up! And I'm sure I'll love Pop, as my four-bajillion photos will attest to next month. (NEXT MONTH! ACK!)

January Park Hours are out!!

:woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

I've also made a decision about our resort.

We are staying put at Pop. I feel so much more relaxed and looking forward to this trip again.

That's the most important thing...

The problem? We have way too many table service places we want to eat at.

For our time together we have 11 places on Itinerary 3.0 so we are going to have to make some MAJOR cuts. We will have 5 nights together to be eating dinner so we have to cut that in half. Granted, I will probably still do one table service while I'm solo but it's still a lot of cutting to do.

Current List:
Big River Grille-haven't been
Mama Melrose's Haven't been
Yak N' Yeti fun, good food & ambience-conveniently located...
Jiko really great food...great if you want to go check out AKL
Les Chefs Don't you guys love this?
Le CellierHave sadly never been...
Crystal Palace (which will be closed for refurb so that one is OUT)
Whispering Canyon Cafe This can be a lot of fun...
Sci Fi Drive In looks like Jen says you aren't doing this...lots of fun though...
Brown Derby You love this-or are you still mourning your polenta???
1900 Park Fare (We plan to still do that on departure day) (Either time of day-great characters...

I have a few places in mind that I don't mind cutting at all. I think I'm going to work on a new Itinerary while Jen is gone and then go over it with her when she gets back. I think I know her well enough to know where she wants to eat the most. I think anyways. ;) Is there a prize for the person who guesses the closest to the end result...:rotfl:

I really feel like I'm much more excited for January. I was feeling way overwhelmed the last few days. I have to keep focused on the facts.
*I'm going to Disney.
*I deserve this trip.
*I get to spend time with my best friend.
*After a very emotional year for me personally, things are looking up and I can't wait to celebrate my accomplishments at my very favorite place!

:cool1:You go girl...

I'm having a lot of fun with these Where in Disney Am I? I hope you are too!

Hmmm...is that photo in the AK?

553424275_3qTGL-M.jpg

I agree you seem happier now that you've made the hotel decision...:goodvibes

Glad to hear that the weight of that decission is off your shoulders! Pop seems like a great choice for this trip.

I was wondering if the ADR choices would change again. Out of the restaurnts you have, I think my favorites were Les Chefs, 1900 Park Fare, Yak & Yeti, Le Cellier and Mama Melrose. Have never done Jiko though. Looking forward to seeing Itinerary 4.0.

As far as the "Where in Disney am I?" picture, I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in Toontown- maybe Toon Park?

Are you near Ariel's Grotto????

Yay for POP! When, when, when are these AP rates coming out? We may need to book room only and then make a switch-a-roo when they come out. I booked my February trip last year on Halloween. So they must be out soon right???? I need a ressie by the 16th so I can make all our ADRs on one day!

Big River Grille-haven't been here...can't comment
Mama Melrose's Yuck...we hated this place. Especially if you actually enjoy Italian food. Our meals were awful. But in fairness, we haven't been there in years now
Yak N' Yeti Must do for me but not diet friendly if that's a factor
Jiko - never been but looks fab!!!
Les Chefs- you've done Les Chef's a lot...maybe somewhere new???
Le Cellier- heaven in a cellar!
Crystal Palace- yay for rehabs making your decision!
Whispering Canyon Cafe- This is fun but I'm thinking its loud for adult trips...maybe save this one for that family trip you are planning ;)
Sci Fi Drive- I really liked this place but if you are just going to get burgers..maybe just do CS???
Brown Derby- I think you have to keep this one
1900 Park Fare- my favorite character meal...I say yes to this one

:yay:YAY for making a decision about POP!!:yay:

You sound more relaxed,I'm happy for you!!! It's going to be a GREAT trip regardless of where you stay, you have so much to celebrate!!

I am so glad that you made a decision. I agree with everybody else that you sound less stressed. I have no idea where your picture is because I haven't been to Disney World since I was 6, :scared1: but I can say that I am going next month. :woohoo:

All caught up. I think you made a good decision regarding POP. You are comfortable there and I think that is important when you are SOLO.

As for the restraunts
I loved Yak and Yeti. Want to try Jiko and 1900 Park Faire and Big River. Was so so on Sci Fi and Le Cellier-sorry MEK-I don't want to eat there :cool2:

I am going to guess that Crystal Palace (I forgot about the rehab) and Sci-Fi are getting the ax.
You would be correct! :lmao:

Awwwww... I'm so glad you are not feeling so overwhelmed anymore!! We are going to have a great time in January I just know it LOL!!! I can't wait!!! It feels good to not feel overwhelmed. Well it's good it made you feel warm & fuzzy since that is what this PTR is all about. :rotfl:

Oh and yes you were with me when that picture was taken. I think I even told you why I was taking it. :rotfl:

I am a lot more relaxed. As much as I want to go to WCC I don't think it's going to make the cut because of how little I'm eating. I just can't pig out the way I want too. :rotfl:

I thought for sure Pizzafari but since that's out, I'm thinking somewhere in Toontown?

When I had to decide if I was going to postpone my vacation to December, it was nerve wracking constantly going back and forth. I'm glad you're happy with your decision. :goodvibes .... at least until those AP rates come out!
Not Pizzafari....it's in TOON TOWN! Ding Ding Ding! I didn't get a bigger picture of this on but it was on our way to the Tomorrowland secret path. :thumbsup2

I really feel like I should know where this picture is. I was thinking AK, too. And they definately are pizzafari colors. I guess my next guess would be somewhere in Toontown, but I never spend much time there, so I'm pretty clueless when it comes to toontown.

Le Cellier is on the list and Les Chefs is a great place to eat! I want Jiko to stay too. I really want that flat bread!!

Hurray for Pop and January hours! I loved Disney in January. Two thumbs up! And I'm sure I'll love Pop, as my four-bajillion photos will attest to next month. (NEXT MONTH! ACK!)
I'm really looking forward to January. I think it's going to be a really different trip weather wise than ones I've taken before.

NEXT MONTH! WOO HOO!!

I agree you seem happier now that you've made the hotel decision...:goodvibes

It is in Toon Town. I am not sure exactly where but it was on the right side as I was walking towards the "secret" path to Tomorrowland. :thumbsup2

Nope, not Ariel's Grotto. I would book your room only so you can make your ADRs. I was actually debating today if I wanted to give up Brown Derby. I know...isn't that crazy!?! I think I've talked myself back into eating there. :rotfl2:

:yay:YAY for making a decision about POP!!:yay:

I really do have a lot to celebrate!

Hehehe, next month! I hope you are going to do a TR!!

All caught up. I think you made a good decision regarding POP. You are comfortable there and I think that is important when you are SOLO.

I think being comfy while I am solo is going to be important. I've heard nothing but good things about Yak N' Yeti so it's on my list for sure!

Hehehe, next month! I hope you are going to do a TR!!

I will absolutely be doing a tr. However I am a little sad to say that depending on how my job interview goes on Monday I may have to postpone it. :sad2: I actually hope I get the job because I have been unemployed for a month and a half now because things are very tight. I think me having a job and being able to make our house payment is more important than going to Disney. My dh said that if we have to postpone we can go twice next year!!!!!! Once with our dd and once just the 2 of us. If it does get postponed I will most likely do a ptr too.

Oh that is sad! But it's for the best if it works out in the long run! :thumbsup2

I had a horrible day today. I was supposed to get my first fill for my gastric band....let's just say it didn't go well at all. After an hour of being poked and prodded with needles my surgeon gave up. It was really bad, his assistant was holding my hand and patting my shoulder trying to keep me calm. This was NOT how it was supposed to go. The surgeon said I am only the second person he hasn't been able to fill. I'm going back on 10/29 and he's going to try again...for ten minutes. If he can't get it right away then he will do it at the hospital while I'm under a special xray. After that he may decide to do surgery again to move the location of my port. I guess during the surgery he was wondering if he should put the port in a different place....now he thinks he should have. It was very emotionally draining. Even thinking about Disney didn't help during it. I went to work for a little bit and then I ended up coming home. I was so exhausted that I took a three hour nap! I'm feeling better now, just really scared for my next appointment.

The good news? I lost another FIVE LBS since last Friday's appointment. That puts my grand total at 38 LBS. WOO HOO! The surgeon said I am averaging about 3lbs a week since my surgery date. :yay:

I thought I'd show you a few pictures of my weight loss so far...

October 1, 2009. Approx. 1 Month after surgery. 38lbs lost!

I feel good!

Moving on...

I was really looking forward to working on Itinerary 4.0 but I haven't had a chance yet today. So I thought I'd share some Disney related pictures.

Marc & I bought Disney Monopoly and we played it on Saturday night. Lots of fun! We played four games, we both won twice.

667247489_VKVQg-M.jpg

You have cottages and castles!

667246871_ZeVmA-M.jpg

You can play a different version of Monopoly with this Tink piece. It's a lot of fun.

667247181_U9cki-M.jpg

My only complaint....Hannah Montana and High School Musical are the Park Place and Boardwalk properties. Ehhh. How about Mickey and Minnie? :rotfl2:

We really want to get the Villain version of Monopoly next!

I also ordered this journal off of Etsy...which is my new favorite website.

667247841_XBWQL-M.jpg

They bound a vintage Golden Book to make it into a journal. The story pages are in the front and then blank white pages. I don't want to write in it...it's too special.

667248140_EreeB-M.jpg

It's beautiful! I love it.

Last but not least. I was at Hallmark last week and found this cute Christmas Advent Calendar. I couldn't resist, it was only $4!

667247634_5SSrC-M.jpg

I've been talking with Marc & my Mom about Thanksgiving/Christmas/Holiday Party plans this last week. It's got me realizing that soon enough it's going to be the middle of the Holiday Hoopla and then it's going to be time to go to Disney! WOO HOO!

Here is another Where in Disney Am I?

See you tomorrow...when we celebrate DOUBLE DIGIT DANCING! :dance3:

OK, sorry but I had to blurt that out.....

Now back to comment on your post.
I feel so bad for you and the ordeal that you went through today. I hope you have much better luck on the 29th.
Wow! You look great, how in the world are you keeping your clothes on, well I mean, how many sizes have you lost and what are the plans for the many wardrobe changes that will be necessary along this journey?

Are you in the back of Brown Derby???

Soooo sorry about the drs appointment today. That's awful. I hope it works out better next time. BUT the positive is that you look fab :thumbsup2

Oh that is sad! But it's for the best if it works out in the long run! :thumbsup2

I really hope I get the job it is the perfect job for me and for our schedules. I will get to stay home with my dd during the day and just work in the evening. My dh will be able to stay with her so we won't have to pay for child care.

If I get this job we will be able to go twice next year!!! I am already making plans. My poor DH has no idea what is in store for him. :rotfl: I am pretty sure that we will even be able to upgrade to a deluxe. I think WL is calling my name.

I am sorry that your dr's appt didn't go well but you are looking marvelous LL.

Oh goodness!!! What great posts these have been! I finally caught up, with all the anxiety over the resort choices, the break from disney, the decisions the decisions!!! It is/can be stressful, I agree... BUT on a positive note you get to stay longer, you have some awesome choices for ADRs and great choices to pick from as you trim your list, and the most important positive is that you really look like you have made headway with weight loss, and you do look very happy in that photo! :goodvibes

I think your "where am I" photo game is crazy!!! VERY fun, but this is too much to try and figure out in my mind!!!! HA!

So Great things to celebrate all around. Including that TV and Wii -- TSM Wii??!! WOW... we just got one in June, only have Wii Fit and Ski, not any regular games, YET. :rotfl2:

And exciting news that the Jan Park hours are out!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Hoping you have a better day and weekend, I am sorry that your Dr. appointment was tough. Hope that turns out alright. :flower3:
