Which leaves me with one panicked thought...

I only have NINE days to figure out my ADRs and Itinerary. ACK! :headache:

I also have a control dilemma. Now that I have moved my arrival date to January 9th my ADR day is on a Sunday. Which means I could technically do them myself. I can't decide if I should just let the travel agent do them or if I should do them myself. It's an internal struggle let me tell you! :rolleyes1

I'm in full out panic mode now. I haven't even worked on Itinerary 4.0 since the park hours came out. I have had such a busy week. I'm also exhausted. I think work kicked my butt this week, it's 9:30PM and I've been ready to go to bed since 7PM. :rotfl:

Marc & I made a last minute decision to go visit my parents tomorrow. With my seasonal job starting next weekend (hopefully...still waiting for that stupid background check to come back), I will not be able to do a lot of the normal family holiday parties. Add in Marc's surgery to the mix and we are going to be super busy here. I also want to go to some stores up there for clothes shopping. My outfit I wore to work today made me feel like a bag lady. It's good but I can't be looking frumpy at work. I'm hoping I can find some cheapo things that will last a few sizes.

I want to go see the Toy Story Double Feature too this weekend. Maybe on Sunday while Marc watches football. Stupid football. If not, I'll survive. I have some planning to fit in this weekend too. Weekends are just never long enough!

I think this Where in Disney World is too easy. But it reminds me of Jen and a funny story and since I've been missing her this week I'm going to go with it.

You look great, girl!

These next three holiday months are going to go by fast, and your trip will be here before you know it.

Enjoy your time with your parents!

Oh girl, I hate that feeling of being unprepared and ADR day fast approaching. Personally I would make the ADRs myself, but you know me, I'm a bit of a control freak.

I think once you sit down and really think about the kind of trip you and Jen want, the restaurants will become clear to you. Thinking about the park hours and what you want to do each day will help too. :goodvibes:

Do you have Kohls? They have some really cute stuff right now and they are always having sales. I just bought some really cute 3/4 length sleeve tops at Target too, they were like 8 and 12 dollars.

Finally a picture I know, American Pavilion!

OK, random thought, when did you see your parents last? Will they be surprised at your appearance?
Did I miss something about this seasonal job???

Thank you! I think the next three months are just going to FLY by. :thumbsup2

I can't decide if I am "zen" enough to let someone else to do the reservations. I think I am going to go with it. I think I need too.

You know, I do have a Kohls and I bought a cute sweater from them. I find though that a lot of the tops from there are too short. I don't know if it's because I'm on the taller side or what.

You are correct! I had to save Jen so she didn't fall off the escalator while she captured that picture. One of my fondest memories from our trip.

Would that be the American Adventure?
Yes it would be!

Shhh....I'm going to be working at The Disney Store for the season. :rolleyes1 It won't be work, right? It will be FUN.

:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Double digit dance!

I use a TA, but do the ADRs on my own. Or maybe I used her the last time...oy, I'm getting old.

I'm officially jealous of that "thing" you said up there. No it's not going to be work at all!

im so jealous of you working at The Disney Store! The closest one to me is over an hour away, and i just cannot justify the gas mileage to work here haha! Have fun working, and by the way, you are looking fabulous!

I've been at the cottage (and away from internet) so I missed the whole resort deciding (It's all Disney so really it's all good) and terrible doctor's appointment (Very frustrating. Sorry to hear about it).

Yay for double digits.:cool1:

:cheer2::woohoo::yay: Double digits :yay::woohoo::cheer2:

I feel your pain on the ADR's, I have a TA too and right now she is planning to do all our ADR's, I just need to give her all the information, because our work schedules are so crazy, but if our 180 day mark (so happy they are switching back, gives me a little wiggle room) hits on a weekend then I will have that internal struggle too, I have to children to scream in the background too, so still leaning toward the TA, but I really want to do it myself to make sure it's what I want. I so feel your struggle....

Seasonal work at the Disney store! FUN! Nah not work at all!!! Goodluck bringing home a paycheck!! HA! Re the store, we have one that JUST opened last week, in the mall 15 mintues from my house! I can't wait to go check it out! I have to do some shopping I didn't get in on my recent trip!!! ;)
I would have to do the ADRs myself, I would be too anxious about them to let someone else do them... I found the online system pretty manageable.
You can do it!!

 I figure if I do use the TA it will be okay.

I hope it's not going to be work. I'm a little nervous about stretching myself too thin but it's only a few months.

Thanks!

We don't even have a Disney Store within 3 hours of us! I may be sending you a shopping list.....
 Sure!

Am I wrong or does working at a Disney Store count you as a "cast" member with special benefits?
You have to be a regular employee and not a seasonal one. :rolleyes1

I think I may just let the TA do it. I don't know. I'll have to talk to Jen and see what she thinks.

I hope so!! The online system is easy, it's just getting up at the butt crack of dawn. Plus I'm really trying not to be such a control freak about everything so I think this might be good practice for me. :rolleyes1

LL, if you are wanting to do your own ADR's online be prepared to call just in case. When I got up early to do them online it would only let me make a reservation for the first day I was there. I had to write an email to my TA at like 5:15 in the morning and she must have been up because I got an email back from her not to long after the telephone lines opened and she had been able to get me everything I wanted on the days I wanted and within 15 min of the time I wanted.
