I got my first $25 Disney giftcard through Swagbucks tonight.

Can I use this giftcard on my DD's ticket into the Magic Kingdom in May? Or can I only use it on disneystore.com?

Any help would be much appreciated!

You can use it towards the purchase of her ticket! :)

You shouldn't have any problems using it for her ticket! They can be used at the Disney Store or many places in Disney World- for tickets, food, in the stores, etc. :thumbsup2

Unfortunately this isn't correct. :(

The e-gift cards from Swagbucks for The Disney Store are only good at DisneyStore.com.

Where can I use my DisneyStore.com Online Gift Card?
DisneyStore.com Online Gift Cards can only be used for online purchases made specifically at DisneyStore.com.

Can I buy Disney Dollars with the Disney Gift Card?
Disney Dollars cannot be purchased with the Disney Gift Card.

You might want to read more about it here: http://www.disneystore.com/gift-cards/c/13544/

Also as far as I can tell, you are limited to one e-gift card per transaction. I have not been able to figure out how to use more than one.

This has been my experience with the Disney Gift Cards you get from Swagbucks.

DOH

I had a 15% off coupon with free shipping on $50 that expired before I'd get the giftcard so I went ahead and ordered my stuff. I also got the 20% off so it was a killer deal.

Do you know if there is a time limit on using the disneystore.com card with swagbucks? I might just wait for the next big sale and pick up Christmas presents. And I wonder if I could use 2 GCs if I called in the order.

I also incorrectly made the assumption that I could use the Swagbucks e-giftcard to purchase a gift card online to use in the parks. When I realized I couldn't do that, I ordered a pair of Mickey ears, but again I made a mistake in ordering the wrong size (I ordered Youth instead of Infant). I also had it personalized, but the embroidery was completely different from the embroidery you get in the parks (it was black and done by machine instead of white and stitched by hand like they do at the park). Oh, and I also forgot to enter a discount code at checkout--so although it was free, it still was kind of a bust for me :sad1:

I'm saving up for the Southwest Airlines e-giftcard now (watch, we'll probably end up flying Jet Blue or something though, LOL!)

Ugh you need to read the terms on the Southwest GC too. It's really lame. Like only a % of your purchase can be paid with by GCs and you are limited to how many you can use.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND why they do not all treat GCs like cash.

Check into Sunshine Rewards for earning Disney Gift Cards.

That's what I was thinking after reading this thread. Sunshine Rewards will send you an actual Disney Gift Card that can be used almost everywhere. It's the same kind of gift card that you can purchase at the Stores. When my DH and I were on our honeymoon, we had a $50 GC from Sunshine Rewards and used it at the Food and Wine Festival. It was great! :)
