Disney Gift cards

Do they expire? I am thinking of getting one for my kids for our trip in 2010, but not sure exactly when that will be yet, so I was curious. Are they good for a year only or good forever?

I don't think they expire. I have taken one from one trip to the next years trip. They also have Disney Dollars that do not expire and are the same as cash anywhere in Disney.
