Can someone confirm that paying for my room (and all other expenses to be charged to magic band) with discounted Disney Gift cards from Target is better than using my Costco Visa (exec membership if that matters)?

Thanks.

Well the Costco Visa only earns up to 3% for travel, so it all depends on how much you've saved using the gift cards. We're doing great with our Costco Rebate but that's also due to a lot of gas 4%.

Thanks. It’s using my Target Red card, so I get the 5% discount. This may seem like an obvious answer but I just want to be sure I’m not missing anything. And always a little nerve racking to buy like $1000 in gift cards.

I all comes down to if saving $20 is worth it to you. For me, it's not worth the headache, but that's my choice. Totally up to you.

The risk you take is something going wrong and you not spending the money. You'll be stuck with all the money in Disney Gift Cards if you take the bigger Target discount vs having cash. Personally, I do gift cards because I know me, or someone close to me, would eventually use it.
