Disney Gift Cards from discount websites

How do we know that they AREN'T good to use at Disney and not just the Disney Stores just like the ones we'd get at Target, Lowe's etc.? I'm sure there are people that DON'T want their gift card and are trying to sell them to one of the discount gift card websites.

I had bought one a year ago or more just to see what kind of card it was. Turned out it was the same as the ones we buy from Target and I did use it in the parks. A couple of weeks ago I tried my luck again and ordered one. It is a merchandise credit that is only good in the stores. Cannot be used to by theme park tickets and isn't good at the parks It's $107 card and I rarely shop at Disney store so kind of bummed but I'll use it albeit slowly I'm sure.

Thanks! So it sounds like there is a possibility of getting one but unless you plan to spend the money at the Disney store it's a definite risk.

Yes, definite risk. And I wanted to add that you could not tell by the amounts. The first one I bought, which was a normal gift card, was $109.xx and this last one I bought, which is a store credit, was $107.xx. So that wasn't a good indicator.
