Disney Gift Card Question

I am thinking of putting money on a Disney gift card for an upcoming trip. Is there anywhere on property (including Downtown Disney) that does NOT accept the card for payment?

And in addition to that, is there anywhere at DTD that doesn't accept the Disney Visa Rewards Dollars? I want to use the reward dollars for lunches and dinners and etc. since I'm avoiding the dining plans.

Having seen/used both cards, I imagine both the Disney Gift Card and the Disney Visa Rewards card are basically the same product (with different branding/marketing), meaning they can be used at any point-of-sale on WDW/DL that specifically uses Disney systems.
