Yup! This is what we did last time. You can put everything on your magic band and then pay it off with GC at your resort front desk. If you are paying with the DDP, they just take the credits off and give you a receipt to sign for tip.

How much are the gift card in store? Online seems to be cheaper. I get a $100 gift card for $94.99 no tax or shipping charges. If I order on Saturday they are in the mailbox around Wednesday.

I thought I remembered hearing about this before. Do I really need to call PayPal? What do I tell them? I logged into my PayPal account and everything looks right.

I'd give PayPal a call. Depending on when and how much was your last purchase, trying to buy more Best Buy gift cards might have triggered some anti-fraud algorithm and flagged your account.

Back in the halcyon days of gift card churning, this happened quite frequently when people bought high value (>$500) and high frequency (several attempts within the week, or even a day) for a quick churn. And people were hesitant to call about locked accounts because PayPal frowned on using eBay gift cards to buy third-party gift cards. Since we can't do that anymore, you shouldn't have to worry about PayPal accusing you of fraud and shutting down your account.

My gut feeling is that you have triggered some filter they use to detect people who are using gift cards to launder money. The fact that you already bought other cards and want more, and that you are getting close to the $500 range may do this.

Other people who did call when asked in the past ended up haveing to give all sorts of personal info, they were still denied, and then their Paypal account was shut down either temporarily, or for good.

You can do a search on this thread for Paypal and PPDG to see if their cases match yours, but I recommend NOT calling, and NOT shopping through PPDG for a few months. If you need your paypal account for anything else, I wouldn't risk losing it.

I had that issue buying the Best Buy gift cards. It got flagged, I said it was me and not fraudulent and then I was okay to buy more. Then I hit 4 transactions and Paypal wouldn't verify me any more. I called them up and they "fixed" it but it still wouldn't work. If you need more, I'd recommend going through someone else's Paypal. I bought $600 in total and that seemed to be the limit.

Or yeah, if @twinmom2002 is worried she did something wrong, step away from this deal and PPDG for a few days or weeks. The flag should go away in time. This kind of Best Buy gift card deal comes around quite often. About a month ago, Best Buy had a buy a $200 gift card/get a $20 coupon deal through Cashstar. It also seems like PPDG runs this or some $ off Best Buy gift card promo every few months, usually around the end of the quarter. This specific deal has been running for almost two weeks; the original eBay listing ended a few days ago and was quickly relisted. ETA: I bought $450 last week under the old listing, and another $300 yesterday under the new listing.
