I am sitting here with $550 in eBay gift cards and another $225 in eBucks:goodvibes....I *really* want to order (5) $150 cards from GCM:rolleyes1...even though it would only earn me $15 in eBucks, it's still $15:thumbsup2

...anyone want a 5x eBucks promo? Because Ol' Man Murphy says that as soon as I place the order, an eBucks offer will pop up and end the day before my order arrives:rolleyes2.

...Just keep waiting...Just keep waiting...Just keep waiting....

I ordered mine right after I got my eBay Bucks so I can have them if/when they do a 3, 4 or 5Xs promo next week. I only gained $8.56 out of this churn but every little bit counts!

Has anyone ordered Disney cards from target recently ? I'm wondering how long they take to arrive. The last one I ordered was sometime in January and I believe it was just under a week. We have a trip May 18th that I need about $600 for but I hate to take those funds out of my churning money in case a promo pops up. Do you think I'm safe if I wait until the end of the month to order???

I ordered on 4/4 and they should be delivered by 4/9 according to my tracking.

My last order came in about a week, but they screwed up and send $50 cards instead of $100 cards. So you might want to buffer at least 2 weeks in case there's a problem.

We'd certainly have to thank you for taking one for the team if your early purchase makes the 5X promo come out! That'd be awesome! Lol. Seriously, I'd wait. I mean, really with shipping, that'd cost like $6.99, so only getting you $8.01 for the churn and you might miss the next promo offer. Especially if the shipping of the cards takes a while as has been my experience lately!

Like you said, maybe you might want to...
Just keep waiting... Just keep waiting... Just keep waiting...

This is comical today but not so much last night. I received 3 Target gcs from GCM yesterday & when I started to use them on Target.com, I could hardly get the gray stuff to scratch off for the #s. It wasn't exactly like it was sticky, more like the actual plastic was coming off & that made me worry the numbers would come off & I wouldn't be able to see & use them. As it was, I just had to make a good guess as to what I was seeing with the gray smudged over it & without making the plastic come all the way off with it. Very frustrating & worrisome, but it turned out I was able to guess/see them correctly & they worked. Whew! Anyone else have this happen? Could the cards have gotten too hot in transit or are they possibly defective?

One of mine this week was covered with the rubber cement/glue that is used to hold the card to the page. That was hard to read through.
I usually end up sitting my phone flashlight on a big magnifying glass and reading the numbers through that.

I had planned on waiting to use mine in hopes of a possible bonus offer later in the month, but I broke down yesterday and cashed them in. After doing that, I was sure there would be a 5X promotion today. Look for one early next week, since my cards won't be here until Wednesday at the earliest. I thought it was worth the risk. With the $52.50 RedCard discount plus $21 in Ebates for converting to ebay GC, and $18 in Ebates plus $36 in ebay bucks less $15.88 in shipping costs, I'm still ahead almost $112. Once I receive my order, I'll slowly convert to ebay GC's and then hold them until the next bonus offer.

i will say we wont get a ebucks promo till tax day April 18, we may get a coupon discount before than.

My last 3 orders took 5 days (arrived today), 7 days and 7 days respectively.

I couldn't wait either and cashed in last week. I wanted my ebucks in actual gift cards...just makes me feel better. My husband now has a ebay account set up to go with his paypal account he's had for forever. I signed him up for ebucks so I may run a few cards through on his account to get him up and running and hopefully set him up to get the ebucks promo when it comes out.

I'm pretty sure they do. Or maybe it's for graduation??? They used to do them four times a year for a few weeks but they have changed that. It seems to me that it's rare to go much longer than a month without a 4x offer.

I think it was around Father's Day last year when Kroger offered the longer 4x promo???

Successfully placed all three Disney gift card orders... phew i was stressing about the last one it took over 12 hours to get the shipping confirmation I thought for sure it was going to be canceled, but SUCCESS!

now i'm debating if I should skip saving on my trip in June and plunge right in to saving for my trip to Disneyland in November..
My June trip is pretty much only going to cost me the hotel everything else is almost nearly set up (aside from food).

My Disneyland trip in november is causing me some problems though... Maybe some of y'all will provide a voice of reason for me and tell me i'm insane:
I'm running Avengers in Novembers it's the 10-13th, BUT i have a business trip in Vegas the 1st-4th. I have the opportunity to use my business travel to cover my airfare costs, BUT i have to extend my disneyland trip to the 5th-14th.
The only thing about this thats kills me is the hotel costs. I'm looking at $4,500 for the hotel that week (staying on property). Now thats a lot and I could save a lot by staying off property BUT i lose the benefit of saving up gift cards to try and cover it.
Other downside i have to Re-up my Annual Pass this week too..
i'm mostly talking aloud here, but i'm horrible indecisive and if i don't start planning now i won't have a room to sleep in lol

By staying off property, I'm pretty sure you would be able to find a hotel for half of $4,500. The HoJo goes for $150 per night and it's a great hotel right across the street.

could use choice hotel or other hotel gift cards to pay for the hotel part.

Why not save up for gift cards for your hotel like hotels .com? This method is not limited to Target, eBay, and Disney cards.

This was a good article from June 2015 with historical data.

Bonus Bucks Schedule
Now we just need to get a method of knowing when eBay will send out bonus Bucks offers. Unfortunately, that info isn’t public and there’s no way to know exactly if/when a bonus offer is coming.

However…

We can study trends. Looking at the trends of bonus Bucks promos over the past year, it appears that eBay sends out bonus offers 3 or 4 times per month. Since each offer goes on for two days typically, that means around 25% of the month could potentially have a bonus offer! It’s starting to make sense to consider waiting and not purchasing immediately.

Interesting exception…

The exception to the rule seems to be during months when we spend our Bucks. eBay Bucks certificates are issued quarterly: beginning of January, beginning of April, beginning of July, and beginning of October. The certificates are then valid for 30 days. In January, April, July, and October they don’t seem to send out bonus Bucks offers. (Since we’re spending our previously accrued Bucks, they don’t need to keep the program exciting by sending out bonus offers.)

Schedule

The other nine months of the year, the offers usually come out:

  • on the 3rd – 5th of the month (this one is sometimes skipped)
  • on the 9th – 11th of the month
  • on the 17th – 19th of the month
  • on the 22nd – 26th of the month
Note that there could be other factors which will hinder the schedule. For example, in December 2014 they released an offer on the 22nd and the 29th to coincide with the holiday season.

Caveats

We’ll mention the obvious caveats:

  • not everyone gets every bonus Bucks offer
  • it’s possible that the Bucks schedule will change at any time or maybe it already changed
  • some months will vary slightly from schedule [If fact, this month (June 2015), there was a more targeted bonus offer on the 11th, but there weren’t any offers being reported around the 4th of the month.]
