Disney Gift Card Deals

I used to buy them somewhere between 6-8%. I have not seen any higher than 4% recently, though I have not been looking as much! I think that's the norm, at least for now.. maybe with graduations and such (grad gifts?!) we'll see higher %s!?
It may be that so many people are starting to save with a RED card (churning and otherwise), that it has driven the demand for Target cards up and the % off down. Hoping that I can get a few good ones before the next time ebay offers 5X on eBay bucks.

In the meantime, swappable is offering Gap cards with a $20 bonus and $5 off for first timers. I picked one up, and Gap is having a 35% off sale. I bought about $150 worth of shirts for $95, and then with the $20 in my swappable account, bought a $50 eBay GC for $30. Yes, I am happy.

Thanks for all the tips everyone. Yes, I think I'm going to have to buy from Disney directly without any discounts (that's fine, I can live with that - I mainly wanted to avoid converting a dollar PayPal balance back into sterling and then back again). I do have a US-based friend that I could probably have the cards sent to and get them to email me the reference numbers. I trust them not to spend the cash in the meantime. :) It does sound like the only easy way to get Disney Gift Cards on PayPal is either in person at a Disney Store or with a US address.

Does your friend enjoy visiting Disney parks, too? Perhaps you could teach him/her how to purchase cards at a discount and in return, he/she could make your purchases for you & email you the codes.

As others have mentioned, there are a couple different routes to take to get about a 5% discount without a whole lot of effort, and probably worth the time if you're buying hundreds or especially thousands of dollars in gift cards.

Got a new red card in the mail and I've avoided activating it, but my old one is officially shut off & I reeeeeeally hope my new one still allows me 5% off on GC's!

Ah, me too! I'm figuring it will be fine, and glad to see others confirm that, but still a little uncertain, lol. Just holding off putting it in until I have to I guess.

Minniekins, I really don't know the answer to your question, but I have ordered 3 $10
I can't answer your entire question, but I have ordered 3 $100s and 1 or 2 $50s at one time with no problem. I was making about one purchase a week and most times only Disney GCs. Maybe if you go for the maximum cards per purchase, you can spread them out more?

Yeah, I'm a little worried now having to get going on buying my cards. Hopefully, just doing the max limit will work okay, but with shipping, I can't spread over too many days or they won't arrive in time. I will probably have to buy in store I suppose, at least the later it gets, to get the $1800 - $2000 I need.

So, with Target cards I do an order of 3$100's and 3 $50's. If Disney $100's were available, do some of you buy the limit on the 3 $100's and 4 $50's all in one order? Just wonder if the Disney cards spark anything more than buying Target or any other cards.

50% extra trade in credit at Gamestop today until 4/16, only when you purchase "The Division." I usually just buy a new copy, don't open it and return it to another location to keep the extra trade in credit.

Great way to get rid of old games and transfer the credit from Gamestop > Ebay.

Of course, YMMV.

EDIT: also a great way to move credit if you have a certificate from your points from churning.

Yoshi's Wooly World can be bought pre-owned at $39 (35.99 pro) and be traded back in for $40 with The Division purchase ($27.50 without the game). Keep in mind you'll have to pay the extra OOP for The Division ($59.99), though.

Looks like they removed the offer. Might have been a error.

This is comical today but not so much last night. I received 3 Target gcs from GCM yesterday & when I started to use them on Target.com, I could hardly get the gray stuff to scratch off for the #s. It wasn't exactly like it was sticky, more like the actual plastic was coming off & that made me worry the numbers would come off & I wouldn't be able to see & use them. As it was, I just had to make a good guess as to what I was seeing with the gray smudged over it & without making the plastic come all the way off with it. Very frustrating & worrisome, but it turned out I was able to guess/see them correctly & they worked. Whew! Anyone else have this happen? Could the cards have gotten too hot in transit or are they possibly defective?
I agree and had the same issue the last few times. The top number scratches off easily and the pin feels like it's taking numbers off with it. I never found a solution.

GCM orders - do you think the smaller orders of $600 or less take less time to ship than the orders of $750 or more that you have to sign for? I'm ready to order again and trying to decide if I should split it up.

I've only been putting in $300 orders, and it hasn't been nearly as long as everyone else as it seems.

I'm in Las Vegas, though. Aren't they sent out from Denver? It might be the location that makes the difference?

I just had a target order cancelled. This is my email:
There was a problem with your order (Order #) placed on 04/08/2016. As a result, we had to cancel it.
Still want the items you ordered? We can help. Just contact us
Thanks for shopping at Target.

Is this the same that everyone else has received when an order was cancelled? And did you call?

I placed a $100 order and a $450 order on 3/31. Haven't received either yet. I've typically got any order ($100 or $900) in about 4 days. This is the longest it has ever taken. I'm in Orange County (CA) so not sure what the issue is this time around.

During the last eBay Bucks promo, I placed four orders. Three were under $750, they all arrived one day before my over $750 order.

In my experience yes. Last time about a weeks difference. I am in MA so not sure if that matters

Is this your first cancelation? Welcome to the club! It happens occasionally, more often for some people. I get the same email when my order cancels. I've never called and just try again later. At least there's no eBay Bucks promo going on right now!

For purchases on Ebay iConsumer is currently 1.3% up to $20 a month. Last month it was 1.5%. You have 0.7% listed on your worksheet.
Because that is what they have listed right now on their page

ETA: Now i see 1.3%.

Thanks! I'm not going to call now. I will try again tomorrow.

ETA: I don't think any good would come from calling, especially if you're paying with gift cards and hoping to still get the Red Card 5% discount. Your average customer service rep will look at your order and tell you that you shouldn't be getting the discount when paying with gift cards. It's happened to many of us who have called, so now the general rule is just don't call.

If you had Ebates activated when you made the order, it often still credits so you might see cash back for your canceled order. Apparently, those credits are rarely, if ever, taken back.

My experience is they do take a couple days longer. They don't seem to get shipped by GCM as quickly.
