Disney Gift Card Deals

I'm now part of the "Cancelled Target Orders" Team! Didn't really bothered with eBates and Target and decided to try for fun since I'm cutting SB out completely now. Cancelled eBay GC with a Picnic Basket I was going to get anyway for our anniversary picnic. And all orders today after that was instant cancelled even for a single eBay GC by itself. eBates gave me credit though. Going to wait another day before I try again.
Did you buy the $200, I had a bunch of those orders cancelled did better with the lower value ones

Give it a day or two. My experience is when Target cancels an order is that all orders the rest of the day get cancelled - almost immediately. I had issues around Christmas time with orders getting cancelled. I panicked and probably did 4 orders or more in one day trying to get one to go through and every single one got cancelled. I calmed down waited until the next day or so and had no problem.

THis is what happened to me at Christmas too. I got one cancelled order and didn't understand to lay low so I tried like 4 more that day and the next. All cancelled. I gave it up for about a week and all has been well since then. I am nervous every time I order from Target though :-/

Not exactly on point, but I'm going to try max out the eBay Bucks for my and my wife's eBay accounts this quarter, but likewise am concerned about running essentially twice the volume through Target. For that reason, I'm going to forego some savings on the Target-side (Red Card 5%, Ebates 2%) and divert some of my funds through Gamestop instead for the quick eBay Bucks and turnaround.
I'm intrigued by the Gamestop churn. There is one just up the street from us so I might pop in there this weekend to see if they will let me buy eBay GCs with their GCs. I guess it's worth a shot! I do like the Target 5% though...decisions!

I have never heard that Target only wants you to have one Redcard per household. My husband and I both have one. We have separate checking accounts though so maybe that's why it's not an issue for us. I just started this churning towards the end of last month and I've only used my Redcard, ebay, paypal, etc so far.
I want to say this is what I was told back when I opened my Redcard in store. I think I will just go for it and get one for DH's account as well. Thanks!

Is it better/easier to go thru Gamestop rather than Best Buy? Thanks.

In either case, you have to go into a store to redeem a gift card for an eBay gift card.

I think the Gamestop pros in this thread will tell you that each store might have a different policy regarding GC-to-GC purchases, but my experience has been that every Gamestop around me that I've tried allows for GC-to-GC purchases. There are rumors that Gamestop will at some point recode their POS system to prohibit GC-to-GC purchases, so buyer beware.

The benefit that I see with Gamestop is the stores (at least in my area) will almost always have eBay gift cards in stock, so when an eBay Bucks promo is going on, you can buy Gamestop e-gift cards from PayPal Digital Gifts for the eBay Bucks, have it emailed to you within an hour, then take it to a Gamestop that day and be almost certain they'll have eBay cards in stock for a fast flip, then take the eBay card(s) home to make another purchase before the eBay Bucks promo ends. Additionally, eBay cards sold at Gamestop can be loaded with your choice of value from $25-500, which makes it more convenient to enter one or just a few codes checkout. Gamestop limits you to $1000 in gift card purchases per day, but this may be for each store (I don't know, I've never churned that much at once).

The Best Buys around me used to carry eBay gift cards, but I haven't seen them on the racks in months and the website tells me they're not available at any store within 250 miles of me. I think the Best Buys in my area may have stopped selling them. You can order the eBay cards on BestBuy .com, select the store for pickup (where the site will tell you whether or not it's even available), and go straight to the order pickup counter. eBay cards cannot be ordered to ship to your address. Best Buy's website and POS certainly allows for GC-to-GC purchases, but you should always check the website for availability in your area before buying a Best Buy gift card. Even where they do, Best Buy sells only $25 and $50 eBay cards, and I've never seen the loadable eBay cards for sale.

This has been my experience as well. I think I bought the rest of what they had back in Feb. I went back in March and they had none. When I asked the guy had to ask a manager and was told they don't sell eBay cards. They had plenty of Disney $25 and $50 cards though.

This is exactly what I did. $200 eBay GC with items I needed. And these are pretty big items because I need them, not really 1 dollar fillers.

But prior to this, I was always able to do $200 ebay GCs by themselves. I'm starting to think eBates also had a plan into it. But I did also choose to pick up my picnic basket at the store.

I have an odd Target question...

DH shops at Target (without me) quite frequently and finally asked me to download the Cartwheel app onto his phone. When I did that, I had to create a Target account for him. This is going to sound weird, but bear with me...

I use Disney gift cards to pay our DVC dues and I have an account set aside specifically for the dues. I don't want to get our vacation money mixed in with our dues money so I decided to start churning our DVC funds through DH's new account since I already churn our vacation money through my account. What I did was use our RedCard debit card and set it up as the default on DH's Target account and used a $200 Target card to buy a $200 eBay card. I had it sent to DH's email account (by default) and he will print it up and hand it over to me:love2:. Our RedCard (credit) is the one set up on my Target account but I have used the debit one in the past. Going forward, if I am going to make an online purchase with the debit card, it will go through DH's account and the credit card purchases with go through mine.

Is there anything about this set up that would raise red flags or is in violation of any rules?

sorry was out and about today, really dont know if you can post the ad, most places you get in trouble, but if you wanna see it look up target ad 4/10. it does list $25 gift cards, so have to wait till sunday to see all the gift cards that are part of the sale.

The closest Best Buy and GameStop are both 30 minutes away. I went to both today with my egift cards I got during the last 5 X promotion. I had checked st GS before and they did not have eBay cards, wasn't sure if they were just out of stock or not. Again, no eBay cards. I only bought $100 GS so I used $50 for a PlayStation card for my son and saving the other $50 incase they restock or something changes. Otherwise I will just buy another $50 PlayStation card and save it for his birthday. Not a big deal, but won't get anymore of them through eBay to try to churn. Best Buy had eBay cards last time I was in a few weeks ago, today they had none. I asked and was told they only have them around Christmas. I didn't bother arguing or telling them that I had bought them several times in the past month. I had $200 ecards for Best Buy. I bought $100 in Disney and saving the other $100 incase they restock. If not, I will buy another $100 in Disney. At least I got the extra ebucks promotion for them so they were still a 10% discount.

The ad says "when you buy any two prepaid cards shown." My guess is it's limited to those gift cards and won't include Disney or eBay but we'll see.

OK, it says any two gift cards shown, and the ones pictured are Applebees, Chilis, Dominoes, Google Play, Netflix and Regal. So if its $25 GCs, that would be a 10% discount on two instead of the normal 5% when paying with GC, yes? I guess you'd get the 5% and $5 GC if paying OOP with RC. I don't think Disney and Ebay will be part of it unfortunately. Would be awesome if they were! I might still pick a few of these up :)

I found the ad scan online by search target ad 4/10. Ignore the ones from 2011. You are looking for the link with a "couple" of "Coupons" ;-)

Get $5 gift card when you buy any 2 of the following GCs
Regal Cinemas $25
Netflix $30
Dominos $25
Chilis $25
Applebees $25

Ditto, it's happened to me on multiple occasions over the last year on multiple types of purchases. Usually I was able to get my order in later the same day though. Ridiculous quirk of Target, but they just cancel random orders it's not your fault! What a business model :sad2:

I have about 4 or 5 Gamestops within 20 minutes drive from me, so I haven't had this problem. The last time I was at a Gamestop, I remember seeing a sign telling you to ask a cashier if you don't see a gift card you want or something like that. I'm sorry I didn't pay much attention to the sign, but it reminds me about something @asgaga posted last year.

In Gamestop stores, you can: Go to gsdigital.me on your smartphone's browser > Select Gift Cards & Entertainment > select the eBay gift card > Select Amount $25-100 > Click Buy (which should generate a barcode that the cashier will scan) > Take your phone to the register to pay (and they'll email you the gift card).
