Is there anyone that could point me in the direction of a post that explains this Target/Ebay/Gamestop process? I am very new to this and have read through a ton of pages, but it seems like everyone knows what they are doing and I can't figure it out . Even just a general "start in the 450's would help, haha! Thank you!

To keep it simple, it pretty much a process of buying giftcards with giftcards when Ebay has "bonus days" and discounts.

- You get 5% back everytime you buy ebay giftcards at Target.
- Ebay has ebay bucks promotions (which IMO are the best profit) that give 3x/4x/5x the 2% that they give for any purchase made through ebay. Gamestop > Ebay > Gamestop is just a quicker way to buy giftcards since you don't have to wait for shipping, it's sent through email.
- Portal websites such as ebates give you a certain percentage back when buying something from clicking on their website portal before you buy.

When your finished, you can buy Disney gift cards with Target gift cards you received. It's a big circle of buying gift cards with gift cards for maximum profit.

Thanks I didn't know that, but both of my orders have shipped already. I won't risk it again. I'll just do it on different days.

I'm glad it went through - that may mean (1) the target rep was misinformed about the nature of the ban, (2) the limit is higher, or (3) the ban was unrelated. Or any combination between. Since it's Target, we'll probably never know.

So just got my red card bill. Apparently they approved my gift card purchase sent the gift cards and then when I went in store to pick up shoes 4 days later it charged red card for the entire purchase and didn't use my 600 in gift cards. Checked the gift cards and they still have the balance. This was the first time I did in store pick up. Has anyone else had this happen?

Kmart giftcard I ordered on 3/28 from SVM gifts when there was a $15 off coupon has already arrived My Target order from the morning of 3/29 has a ship notice, initially it said it would arrive Monday but updated yesterday to Tuesday (which would normally be bad, since DD9 has homeschool co-op on Tuesday, but she'll be at her Dad's for spring break this week). I wouldn't be too shocked if my 3 other SVM orders arrived by Tuesday as well since I am only a state away. If only SVM would stock Target....

There are too many variables to give you a number. It depends on when you order, how much you order, how quickly you can convert Target back to eBay, what deals are offered, how many they're offered, how quickly you could turn around your GameStop GCs...

And it all could come to an end tomorrow, too. The system is built on little loopholes. If one or two of those close, it won't matter how much you have available.

That said, take a look at what you started with and ended with on the last promo you went through and you should be able to do some ballpark math for your situation, provided nothing significant changes.

Thanks, I understand that there is a lot that comes into play with this... This quarter would be my last one before we go on our cruise, I have enough to cover the cost of the cruise. Now I want to have extra money for tips, excursions and on board purchases. I wanted to start converting some of the money for Disney Gift card and save some for churning. I'll have get a spreadsheet going to see if I can figure it out.

I did pretty good this quarter with Ebay bucks and it was my first time trying it out. I'm now trying to plan for the next quarter and was trying to figure out about how much money would I need have available in order to hit the max of $500 on Ebay Bucks. What has been your experience? This last bonus I tried the Ebay > Gamestop > Ebay > Target. Thanks for your help!

I agree with the Perfessor, but here are some data points.

In Sept '15 there were 4 ebay bucks offers (all 4-5x).
Final quarter of '15, there were 3-4 offers in November (1 was 3x) and 4-5 in December (2 were 3x). There was also a 5x in late October, I'm told.
1st quarter '16 there was an offer in Jan, 4 in Feb (1 2x and 1 3x) and 5 in March (1 3x).

In order to max out each quarter, you would need to be able to turn over approximately $2500 at 4x for $200 and $3000 at 5x for $300, over a period that likely only covers about 2 months, and you likely won't get every offer. Personally, it takes me about a week to get my Target cards from GCM, and there can be as little as 5 days between offers, based on the last 7 months.

Shipping charges on Target cards at GCM can eat into your profit if you are only turning a small amount. I personally would not do less than $450 (3x $150) from GCM unless there's a special with free shipping. I always try to keep at least a couple of hundred in ebay gift cards in case GCM has a discounted Target card (which I have always seen with free shipping).

Wow I didn't realize that. Good catch. I had been thinking it felt like there were a lot more new ones on the thread as of recently. How long until some mom blogger out there catches on and advertises it for the sake of creating a click bait article. That is EXACTLY why we don't need step by step videos on YouTube and/or a sticky. People are less inclined to jump in when they have to do the digging themselves.
