Disney Gift Card Deals

Target. Com is out of $100 Disney gc :guilty:. Anyone knows how long they usually take to stock up?

How far along in the process did you get before you were told you couldn't do this? I just now tried it with a $25 Game Stop digital card and it let me get all the way to the point where I would click to place the order using my Amazon gift card balance in my account. I didn't finish up the order so I wasn't sure if click the final button cancels the order.

Interesting...I hadn't loaded the amazon card into my account yesterday, so I got to the payment screen and it won't let you select the gift card option to add it as payment. But now that I have loaded it (and spent some of it, grrr...) it does show the balance as an option! So, someone needs to try purchasing it with your amazon card pre-loaded and see if it actually goes through!!

I just checked and my GCM order from Tuesday morning has already departed the shipping facility in Pittsburgh! That was quick. I will probably have them by tomorrow, since they don't sort mail in Erie anymore it should be out for delivery (which is so silly, every time I mail something to someone in Erie it has to make its way to Pittsburgh to be sorted).

Didn't someone post about this yesterday? I don't know if Target ever restocked, but it could take anywhere from a few hours to weeks. I don't think anyone can say for sure. I recall last year, when Disney cards went out of stock, it could take a week or more for Target to restock, so much so we had to factor in that risk when buying gift cards in time for our trip. It seems like you rarely see Disney cards go out of stock nowadays (outside of a sale) and Target restocks much faster when they do.

I noticed that the 100s were out of stock on Monday when I tried to put in an order.

The same with the Ebay > Gamestop flips.

Although I'm kind of new here... the way everyone was reacting over the Ebay > Gamestop flip, it seems like it's a relatively new thing here. We don't know how for sure how much Gamestop monitors our accounts, or if they decide to ban people moving forward, so please play it safe and don't buy thousands of dollars of gift cards at a time at a single location. Buying $300 or so in gift cards doesn't seem as suspicious, but dropping $1 or 2k on a gift card does. Big sign of money laundering and Gamestop gets some pretty sketchy people pretty often. They have banned peoples accounts for trading in 4 of the same title with a video game, so I wouldn't doubt that they would ban us.But anyway... great quarter everybody :thumbsup2It seems like the sales kept coming one after another in the past week. Here's to the upcoming quarter popcorn::
When I did some gamestop the other day, I asked the guy and he said $1000 per day, and if I want more, I'd have to come back the next day and there was no problem with that. So, I feel comfortable with that since he specifically offered that to me to come back the next day if I want more, and I said that's okay, and he said yes. So, I felt fine about doing $300, in three increments in one day. Have the $1000 digital paypal limit per month anyway.
And, you're right, it's been a great quarter! I'm very pleased with my $500 ebay bucks on my account, and able to get $336 on DD25's account between last weeks' and this weeks' ebucks offers! So, very happy with that turn around on her account! Excited for our first spending, lol, and plan to hold off a bit to see if we get an offer at all, by the third week in April to get ebucks form spending ebucks, lol!

Ok, next question of the hour....
I created an eBay account for my daughter in hopes of getting the bonus bucks offers on her account, since I don't get them on mine. When the offer pops up, how do you find out about it? Do you receive a message? Are you just on eBay a lot and see something?

Did you try signing out of your ebucks offer on yours and resigning up to maybe trigger it? And you signed your daughter up for ebay bucks? Then, just watch here for sure, someone always posts early, then also check email(mine usually comes about 10;30), and check your messages on ebay, too. And the scrolling banner if you haven't seen anything.

If you need them soon and are ready to cash out, I've always seen them in store on the gift card racks.

I still have sometime before our April trip. I end up doing 2 orders of $50 gc and I just have one more order for this trip ($300), but having to add stuff to get ebates isn't that good when I have to add small items to small orders.

As a reminder, I would strongly dissuade you from ordering more than 4 $50 Disney GCs in one day. One of the individuals who was banned from Target has stated that Target explicitly told them ordering more than 4 Disney $50s in a single day was the cause of their banning.

I'm not particularly keen on testing the limit myself.

I honestly think by the time I have $1,000 Target gift cards, I will be ready to just cash out in store. Maybe a few hundred dollars at a time, but it beats only being able to order $600 worth on Disney's website at once (3 x $100 and 3 x $50). Plus then I know I have them all done. We'll see, the $20 Ebates could be worth it though lol.

I did pretty good this quarter with Ebay bucks and it was my first time trying it out. I'm now trying to plan for the next quarter and was trying to figure out about how much money would I need have available in order to hit the max of $500 on Ebay Bucks. What has been your experience? This last bonus I tried the Ebay > Gamestop > Ebay > Target. Thanks for your help!

No, I haven't turned my ebucks off yet. I have a $5 certificate coming, so was afraid I'd lose that if I shut it off. Once I spend that, I will try turning it off and back on again and see what happens.

Luckily I have 6 months to figure out how all this works!

If I am understanding this correctly, the eBay>Gamestop>eBay is just to quickly turn the eBay GC around so you can get more bonus bucks? No special bargain price on the Gamestop GC, correct?

Thanks I didn't know that, but both of my orders have shipped already. I won't risk it again. I'll just do it on different days.

There are too many variables to give you a number. It depends on when you order, how much you order, how quickly you can convert Target back to eBay, what deals are offered, how many they're offered, how quickly you could turn around your GameStop GCs...

And it all could come to an end tomorrow, too. The system is built on little loopholes. If one or two of those close, it won't matter how much you have available.

That said, take a look at what you started with and ended with on the last promo you went through and you should be able to do some ballpark math for your situation, provided nothing significant changes.

To me, the 5% off at Target is far more significant than the 1% in ebates....

Sort of. It is also to keep from running too much through Target, and to not have all your gc out for shipping for when the next ebay bucks come out.l

Is there anyone that could point me in the direction of a post that explains this Target/Ebay/Gamestop process? I am very new to this and have read through a ton of pages, but it seems like everyone knows what they are doing and I can't figure it out :confused3. Even just a general "start in the 450's would help, haha! Thank you!

@Marionnette had an overview on page 470, but she moved it to keep everyone on their toes. ;) You'll have to ask her where it ended up. I think in the 500s somewhere.
