And as I said yesterday, if there was a promo for 3x or more, I was going to take advantage. Well 5x was much more than I was expecting, but what a nice surprise. Another $102 towards my fund just on this churn makes me so happy.

Our original ebay acct that we've had for many years has never gotten a promo. I created a new acct at the end of Feb and have gotten every promo since.

So if I set up a new ebay account, can I use the same email address and attach the same paypal account to it?? Do I have to delete my original ebay account?? TIA

Thanks for the commiserating, wendow! Helping to calm me down, lol. And, no worries, I didn't type out that much earlier lol, it's a bit confusing, lol. Hmm, yes, I'm sure you're right on that $5000 limit being lifted. But still a bit worried after I just was looking at their negative(5) and neutral feedback(8) in the last month, which isn't really a lot with the like 3400 good ratings for the month, and about 31,000 good and 360 negative for the last 6 months. That's like 1% I guess, so really pretty good I guess. People mostly getting empty cards that weren't fixed, and a few slow shipping. Anyway, hoping they will answer tomorrow and I'll see the shipping show up then! I need the cards back by at least mid April to start getting some Disney gc's for May trip! Argh!

Haven't been keeping up the last few days because of work but I'm in the same boat. 1 order shows as shipped (arriving today) but two of them are not shipped with a delivery date of 4/4. All orders done within a few minutes of each other. It's the First time I've run into this and now I'll miss out of 5x bucks today. Hhhhh. Long night shift at work, and now realizing I'm going to have to talk down these gift cards when I wake up...I am certainly not doing it now! My bed is calling and I'm in no mood.

Use a different email for your new ebay acct. We already had 2 paypal accts. We've been using my business paypal with our old ebay. I have used both paypal accts with the new ebay acct with no issues. I plan to use the secondary paypal acct with the new ebay acct going forward, but I'm not sure it matters with the spending restrictions lifted now.

It's debatable whether they will arrive tomorrow. Right now, the ones that were shipped via USPS are sitting in the main post office in Philadelphia and have not been sent to my local post office. The ones arriving via UPS are somewhere between Colorado and here with an estimated delivery date of Thursday.

Even if the USPS packages are delivered tomorrow, they won't be in my mailbox until 4 PM or even later. We get our mail very late in the day. By then, I would expect that GCM will be out of the $150 and probably the $100 GCs, too.

I don't need any GCs from Target. It's a question as to whether I want to leave free money on the table. 10% back from ebay, 1% back from ebates and another 1% from my credit card would be nothing to sneeze at. The money is already set aside. I'm leaning toward making a purchase today with cash and then making another one tomorrow using the GCs if they arrive in my mail in time.

Yeah, I even typed in my social, address, and card number through multiple screens without realizing that it might be a scam as I just bought the cards. I didn't go to the final "verification" though, but I'm still going to change everything today. I contacted Paypal about it and they sent me a link to re-verify my account with changing my password which looked totally different.

Now every time I try to check out on ebay it asks me to verify my account with the text/call verification feature.

Can you still purchase gift cards on ebay without having a card linked to your account, but logged into Paypal? I'm thinking once I get a new card, I won't be able to purchase anything on ebay.

I'm just not getting these. I have three different accounts and none have these offers. So frustrated! I guess my plan is to wait until April and just try churning without any extra promotions and maybe then I will start?

I posted back in p 656 but the post got lost in the excitement of 5x. Ebates got back to me this morning and told me I wasn't credited for 3 purchases through ebay last week because I used giftcards as payment. I used giftcards as payment for all the purchases I made last week so I'm not getting it.

There was a button that said "Shop Now". So I did that, but now its just showing that I will earn the standard amount of ebucs ($4 on 200).. do I need to do something else? Or should I just complete the transaction and it will then show the 10%?

Happy and sad. I had two orders from GCM for 300 each that were ordered on the same day. One arrived today and the other didn't. Hoping it comes tomorrow but looks like it may be slightly "lost" so I'm thinking it may be a couple of days behind.

If the employee confirmed it, it'll take the gift cards in the system no problem. You might have a problem with purchasing the Gamestop gift cards through Ebay through Paypal Digital Gifts with their restrictions, but you can then just buy something else as Ebay has a bigger variety from things to choose from like Target etc.

For most of us the 5x comes off the very last page before you hit confirm and pay.you also have to hit the button that says activate 10 percent or activate savings. Another page will come up confirming that you activated the 5x. Try going to My eBay then on the summary page hit messages. There should be a message from today with the offer there.
