WAIT! Guys I need help! So after basically being about to give up, I SAW in my account the 5x offer! It wasn't in the banner, and not in a message, but on the Gift Card home page! There was a button that said "Shop Now". So I did that, but now its just showing that I will earn the standard amount of ebucs ($4 on 200).. do I need to do something else? Or should I just complete the transaction and it will then show the 10%?

I saw that too, but like you, I am only getting the 2% when I go to pay for the GCs. This is on my old account that stopped receiving the promos in January. Weird.

So did you go all the way through? I am not sure what to do. Even when I get to the page where I put in my gift card numbers, its only showing the standard amount of ebucks.

I'm wondering if I just process this and then send a screenshot to ebay showing that I had this offer they will adjust?

I had the 5x offer as a banner when I logged in this morning. I clicked and activated it, but still most of the "You will earn x ebay bucks" type messages reflected only the standard 2%. Eventually, after clearing my shopping cart a couple times, I was able to get the proper amount to show before checking out. But on the confirmation page, it reverted back to the 2% total! I was a tad nervous, but then roamed around ebay until I got to my ebay bucks history. The transaction was already there and it showed the proper amount being applied.

No, I didn't follow all the way through with a purchase. I am waiting for some Target GCs to arrive tomorrow and then I'll try it.

Nope. It just loads the gift card page.

I don't have anything in my messages. I think I got all excited over nothing! However, I am probably going to try just placing the order. Worst case scenario I will at least earn my first eBucks and then maybe I'll start getting the real offers.

From your screen shot it looks like you got it. Try buying 1 card and see what happens. I've never seen that message outside the extra bucks promo.

Okay, so I just went through the entire process start to finish and did not get the bonus as the banner states. So I just spent the last 15 minutes on the phone with Ebay. They did not tell me why I didn't get the bonus or why the banner is there and doesn't work, but they are suppose to add an additional $12 to my account over the next 24 hours.

I'm going through my 2nd run of giftcards for today. I've had problems in the past with Best Buy gift cards and was getting an error with Paypal Digital Gifts. I had to call both ebay and paypal for them to do something on my account for it to take. They kept on passing me back and forth so it was a pain, but they eventually made it work.

Nothing in particular...more the novelty of staying *in* the airport. When we've walked through the atrium on our previous trips, I've commented on how the rooms of the hotel are right there...and how neat it would be to stay there someday.

To me it looks like its already activated. I didn't activate the offer this time since I've already maxed my ebucks bonus this period, but IIRC, I've seen that after I've activated.

Are you guys looking on your actual eBay bucks summary page? I know sometimes it looks like it doesn't credit, but then when you look at the earned summary for the eBay bucks then it is there.

Woo Hoo for 5xs bucks!!! So glad I received one of my GCM orders yesterday. Hoping to see the other one in my mailbox when I get home from work. Already churned the others through Target this morning, and the Ebay cards were emailed to me super quick. If the other order comes in I'll do the same tonight and hopefully get my Ebay order in tonight. I think I can officially say I'm addicted to this......it's so exciting, and I honestly do like all the calculating to see how much I'm saving (I'm a bit of a math nerd). LOL

I posted back in p 656 but the post got lost in the excitement of 5x. Ebates got back to me this morning and told me I wasn't credited for 3 purchases through ebay last week because I used giftcards as payment. I used giftcards as payment for all the purchases I made last week so I'm not getting it.

That may be in their terms, even though you've gotten it before. I know most of the portals that we use have those terms, but do end up crediting anyway. I'd be careful pushing the issue with ebates, as I wouldn't want to see them take away CB that has already credited.
