I'm not sure if this has been posted for the week yet but Rite-Aid has ebay gcs - buy $50 get 800 ($8.00 worth) plenti points.

I bought this on 6/21. When I tried to use it yesterday it says, "Oops, we can't find a gift card with that number. Please check your 13-digit code and try again." Rite Aid says it's activated. Ebay says they need conference call w/ Riteaid. Riteaid says NO Way. I had to dispute it w/ credit card Co. Barclay's blames Riteaid for not returning it but I think it's Ebays fault.

Just a note, on my PPDG BB orders yesterday, they arrived in less than 20 min.

I know this has been asked/maybe answered before, but can I make a Paypal account in my husband's name and use it for MY eBay purchases or can I open another Paypal account? What has worked for others? I still need about another $1,000 in gift cards and was hoping to max out the Ebucks this quarter and I'm not close!

I made an eBay and PayPal account for my DD25 earlier this year. But, usually I end up using my Paypal account even when buying thru her eBay account, especially when trying to use PPDG,(unless mine won't go thru at all). But where ever I'm purchasing from it works fine to use my Paypal with her eBay and vice Versa. I thought you could have one personal Paypal account and one business account.

Most Target stores carry $50/100/200 eBay GCs and you can still get 5% off them using your REDCard, but no stacking that discount with Target GCs.

What many of us are doing is buying them for regular price, but getting a rebate associated with them. This happened to me when I bought a eBay gift card from Best Buy. Best Buy did not activate it correctly. EBay finally ending up giving me another gift card for the same amount. Best Buy never could get it activated on their end.

I just cleared EVERYTHING (cache, cookies, browsing history etc.) per the recommendation from a Paypal email and it is now working! I didn't REALLY want to buy Best Buy gift cards without an Ebucks bonus but I DON'T EVEN CARE BECAUSE I'M SO ELATED! I have faith for everyone that has had negative experiences.

Ugh that is what happened to me you are officially banned. I'm so sorry!! Did you have an money tied up?

I have $600 in GameStop that I will turn back to eBay and try to run through my mom's account (NOT using the evil PPDG). I have $100 in eBay that are not assigned to any account, so I should be able to use those on her acct for something. I have $6.02 in eBay GC tied to my acct and about $300 in eBay Bucks between Mom's acct and DD's acct.

Ok... just got off the phone with PP. They are closing accounts when they are reviewed and find that GCs are being purchased with GCs. They consider this risky behavior. The closed accounts end up being permanently closed with no chance of appeal. "A parting of ways."

So, once I get my funds out of eBay, I'm done. I don't want to risk my mom's acct, so I am considering what to do with the GS gift cards.

Paypal is the worst! Be careful with your mom's account, they also immediately closed DH's account, I think b/c we have the same checking account linked. Once they associate you with the banned account they will limit all other accounts. So make sure you are connecting from a different IP address or they will shut her down. It's been a nightmare for me!

Oh and I got the same exact speech with GC to GC and we have to "part ways". I'm cringing at people still running over $500+ through PPDG because it really is playing with fire.

Maybe you could use the GameStop gc's for gas cards and then use the money you budget for gas to buy Disney cards?

I will have to check out what gas cards they have available. I only fill up once a month, or so, but my husband goes through a lot, so that may work out well.

I appreciate the heads up. I'm out. I'll take the $300 in BestBuy from yesterday, cash out to Disney and be done. Have to figure out my best move for the $650 in ebay bucks coming in July but it won't be with PPDG. Not worth risking a paypal account I've had for years.

An IP address is from your internet provider. So if you are logging in with the same internet account it will be the same IP address no matter which device you use.

I can't speak for her but my understanding is the PPDG verifications triggered someone to look closely at my account I had many GC purchases using GC payments. PP told me they were "cracking down" on that and I got the same speech.

Then they will likely get shut down too. PP has bots and once they have a banned account in there system they will shut any affiliated account down. There are evil. SO, wait to log onto any PP account until it is EBucks time and you may get the orders in but be prepared to be shut down. Maybe you could go on from your moms house and use her computer?? Its nuts!!

I'm thinking it is all. She said it's ok to use a GC to purchase an item, but not a GC. Since all of these transactions technically go through PayPal, I would say it's ANY GC to GC transaction that can get you banned.

The whole thing is nuts if they don't want you buying GC with GC then don't let it go through! Or how about at least a warning! If you google banned from PayPal it's eye opening. I'm so glad I didn't have any active money in the account. My Ebay account hasn't been limited or anything......
