SO, I got the GCM limit enforced on me. No more than 25 items in 10 days. I never had that before. I had to hop over to my dh's account to buy more. And now, yet another limit to keep track of...good grief, just make this easy, alright!?!

I haven't received the extra bucks offer three times now . I have had my account for years. I thinking I have to open one for my DH.

That is exactly what I would do. It comes in handy to have two accounts to use.

I have the bonus bucks offer on my app, but not on the desktop version. On my App it's on the featured tab - under today's deals - 3rd one down it's a pic of a girl on a bike that says Bucks Booster Earn up to 8% in eBay bucks AND it has a countdown clock that is counting down 1 day 14 hours. So YAY because I've only gotten 1 offer since I started this in early March. Clicked on it and it takes me to a page that says Bucks Booster with icons of some things either in my cart or watch list. So I clicked on the Target card, ordered 5 $150 cards and checked out using all my ebay gift cards. Worked wonderfully.

HOWEVER, then I logged in to the desk top version and see that I was only credited $15 ebay bucks for my purchase. I contacted ebay support and they had me hold quite awhile while they checked and came back to say that I didn't get the promotion and didn't qualify for the 8% bonus offer today. Whhaaaat? Why is it on my app? It definitely wasn't there before. So after some back and forth with the ebay agent, and reading word for word from the app, and offering to take a screen shot of the offer, she reluctantly agreed to credit the remaining ebay bucks as a 1 time courtesy.

It's bizarre that it is on my app if I didn't qualify for it.. anyone else not have it on their desktop, but have it on their app?

I was gone from Thursday until late last night and haven't been reading the thread. Then I get on over my lunch and start skimming to catch up. OMG Target 5% discount being back is just so great! And I got the 8% eBay Bucks offer, so I will be converting my eBay cards into Target cards once I get home from work tonight. Thanks everyone for staying on top of things!

Nooo.... all my churning money was 'delivered' on Saturday but never actually showed up at my house.

Waiting on a call back from the postmaster to find my package, because the substitute mail person did not deliver to my porch with 3 other packages as she is claiming. First... we didn't get 3 other packages. Second... our dog notifies us any time someone comes near our door porch and he made no comments. Third... tracking says delivered to mailbox. Even if an error was made, the carrier was insistent she delivered to our porch. So their records are questionable at best (even though this isn't actually proof of anything... it rings by BS bell).

as I was reading my thread updates this a.m. (man there are a LOT on here!) I saw the 8x offer.... went to Ebay,there it was.... 10 minutes later, my Ebay order from last week arrived (how convenient) - went online (thru ebates) and ordered the e gc's with some items I needed (the new website is different,and the RC discount is automatically on there now) placed order- did some housework- 2 hours later back into email,got the codes....onto Ebay and placed order for the ebucks offer! I totally hadn't expected to do another round of orders so soon, but hey, It practically did itself this time lol- Side note, I actually purchased a smaller denomination ebay gc at the grocery store this week (4x gas points + 5x UR points) and added it to my churning fun, first time thinking about gas discounts for me!
no matter what happens, this is interesting, and to those who are so concerned about "new" people finding out 'the secret' ..... c'mon folks.... a lot of those 'complaints' I'm seeing are from fairly 'new' posters here,and for another It's NOT a secret.(repeat ad nauseum) NOT. Most of us found out about this sort of stuff from boards just like this,and those others noted. I personally don't like boards where they act like anyone who wants to learn is 'the enemy' and the 'secret' belongs to just a few. I found out by stumbling across this sort of info YEARS ago. (at least 6) And as noted in my post last week, wringing our hands with anxiety every time someone 'notices' what's going on in this thread, or the 50 other threads just like it (just google) doesn't really matter at all, what will be will be when it comes to churning and one thing always stays the same -YMMV! Here's a tip for 'newbies'....that means Your Mileage May Vary That said....thanks to ya'll and the different actual experiences posted here,every bit helps.

I have to admit that when I saw that a blogger posted a "how to", my heart sank a bit. Partially because I feel that the more places that this is posted, the more it will be exploited by people who won't exercise caution in their churning (which will lead to more tightening of the reins). And partially because he left a lot out that could lead people to end up with their vacation funds tied up in GCs that they cannot use for their vacation. On a blog, there's not a lot of updating that gets done unless the blogger himself does it. On a thread like this, people are on top of every change and offer.

If there are newbies that somehow found their way here as a result of that blog post, well then I guess TPTB of the disboards will be grateful for the increase in traffic and that's a good thing for them. So to those newbies, I say WELCOME! and please read the thread starting around page 530 before you post any questions. We're happy to help if any particular part of the process is confusing to you.

oh also FWIW when I first went to check out on ebay it showed the non bonus ebucks amount(!) -disabled my blocking software-then I went back to ebay to look at some random thing...went back to cart,and the proper amount showed at checkout(screenshot) just saying for me, chrome is glitchy.

How much were you trying to purchase? I found myself locking my account when I place an order of $300.00 or more. So far I find $100 and $200 work for me.

Very frustrating. I finally get an ebucks offer, I have everything ready to go and PayPal locks my account. I can't make any purchases at all or log into my paypal account. I spent 40 min on the phone for some to just shrug and say they don't know why it's happening and to try using another payment method. Absolutely no comprehension as to what I was saying. $8 would go through my PayPall account. Not the amount I was purchasing. UGGHHHH!

I just checked, and my UPS package with my Target giftcards won't be here til Wednesday, so I only have $100 in eBay on hand. I am glad to have received the 4x offer, but probably going to sit this round out. I'd have to pay for shipping on only one card, so I would be ahead $6 between eBucks and eBates

I am trying to find a pattern for who gets and doesn't get the offer- so far I have an old account that I recently signed up for eBucks on, never got any offer. I made myself a new account and have received 3 offers (one during the last quarter, the 6 hour one last week, and this one) and since I don't want eBay to kick me out for collecting eBucks on two accounts in my name, I opened one for my husband two weeks ago and had received the 6 hour 4X but not this one.

Just got off the phone with eBay. I don't purchase a lot, but bought 2 GS GC today. Went to buy an Ulta GC for some items I wanted to purchase their and I get the message from eBay they are trying to protect my account.

Lady I spoke with said they are trying to limit GC purchases. Also said there is no 'guideline' but that I'm locked out at 2 and to try again tomorrow.

Oh, just went through this with missing GC's. I really hope yours turn up and soon. It's really worrying when this happens.

Yeah, I had a similar thing happen last week. I purchased two gift cards and then couldn't purchase a stylus, said I was purchasing too much. I have to wonder how the sellers feel about this. I mean, isn't the whole idea of eBay to have people buy and sell items? I don't understand a business model that says, "Sorry, no purchases for you today!" It's all very strange.

Did you activate the offer? Whenever I see the offer in the banner it has a clickable "activate now" button. That takes me to another screen where I need to enter my email to see if I really have the offer.

When I click on the picture, it takes me to another screen that has Bucks Booster at the top and below it are several pictures of items that must be in in my watch list or cart. It's still counting down the offer and now says offer good for 1d 11h. I tried to be polite as possible to the ebay agent, but very frustrated that she said she would only honor it as a 1 time courtesy. I have more target cards arriving today that I had hoped to use.
