I'd email them then. It's clearly included via Ebay on their page. They shouldn't have a problem crediting.

Obviously that's different if you're getting Ebay cards through Target, in which case, I misunderstood what the PP was asking.

The OP is asking about buying an EBay gc from EBay. I've gotten ebates for other giftcard purchases but EBay gc's are listed in exclusions. The physical cards have never credited but people had luck with PPDG now those don't seem to be crediting either.

I went for it. I haven't been getting the Ebucks promotions so I am not even sure I will get one. If I do end up getting one, I will put some more money in to take advantage but I figured the 6% total was better than nothing.

e-gift cards are part of the exclusion..also from what I read the e-gift cards are sold by a 3rd party so AMEX does not see its a sale through staples.

I went ahead and got some best buy gc's to get the ebates and not have to run even more money through target this week. Then if there is a ebucks deal I can turn them over quickly and get those as well.

My best buy is good about keeping the $50 and $25 ebay gift cards in stock.

Can I use ebay gc to buy ebay gc's with this deal? The promo page only shows the smaller denominations. If I switch to a larger denomination how do I know if I'm getting the promo? Does it come off at the end?

I bought an ebay e gift card. A/E pending is showing staples. com charge. I'm happy it doesn't say cashstar then I would definately not get the $25. I should have just got the physical gc. Fine print says no egcs.

Ebates usually credits you 1% cash back on gift cards purchased on eBay (excluding eBay gift cards). Today, Ebates is running a bonus offer that bumps that cash back to 4%. The same rules apply, you just get a little more back today. You can get cash back on Target, GS, Best Buy, etc. cards, but you will not get cash back on eBay cards.

Amex has a lot of different offers for their cardholders to incentivize them to use their Amex. However, for these offers to be available to you, you have to have an Amex card and you have to be targeted for the offer. I have an Amex card and I didn't get the Staples offer on my account. The deal is to spend $100 or more at Staples using your Amex, and Amex will apply a $25 credit on your billing statement.

Tried $200 PPDG with Gamestop for a quick churn, and it went through no problem. Just tried another $200 and it has me going through the verification process again. Calling PPDG quits for now. I'm planning on just converting this $200 after I get off of work today and waiting for the next ebucks promo.

Oh...FWIW,on the various canceled orders/Target issues....my .02.... is this- different browsers act funny at target .com.... Chrome,Firefox,etc. I have had to shut off certain adblockers I'm running, or use a different browser just to be able to do a transaction. Maybe this might help someone? Also I've never had anything cancelled from anywhere,(let's hope it doesn't happen) but that could be b/c I've never ordered more than $400 at a time....(I'm small potatoes on this thread) but I have definitely done multiple orders in one day,right in a row lol (I didn't know I shouldn't!)

BUT! The Ebates quarter ends on 4/30 and pays out on 5/15. This eBay Bucks quarter ends on 6/30. So you could reason that taking advantage of this Ebates bonus will get more cash back to you sooner that you can use to fund more eBay purchases for a quarter that won't end until June.

And this is an extra 4% that won't move you closer to the max rewards through ebucks.

I went for it, mostly because I was trying to do a smaller (non churning) purchase on ebay yesterday and paypal was being wonky, so I decided to try a transaction today just in case there was a problem that I would need to sort out and didn't want to be doing that while there was a 5x promo. I was't sure how using all my gift cards and my ebucks credit would go, but it was no problem at all - and I somehow managed to get my within $.12 of what I had available! I was happy
