Disney Gift Card Deals

I think people just need to be patient with ebates, and stop putting in tickets unless it is a regular eligible purchase. Target usually credits the same day for me, ebay has ranged from same day to a week later depending on when my item ships. I know it is easy to worry that you aren't going to get cash back, sometimes you won't. Putting in tickets is begging for them to deny it and possibly have them reverse your other purchases. Paying with gift cards is technically not supposed to work on any of the shopping portals, but it does most of the time on ebates and a lot of other portals as well. I don't ever put in tickets if I know that I'm not technically supposed to get it.

ETA: This is from ebates about how long it takes to credit to your account: "Most cash back rewards are credited within 48 hours. Some stores, however, cannot confirm your purchase until the return period has elapsed and may take up to thirty days to confirm your cash back." Patience people.

I totally agree with you, Cydney...but to be clear, I did not put in a ticket, nor was I going to :-)

I paid for my target from eBay on Tuesday with all giftcards. got a notification about my ebates two hours after.

ETA: my Wednesday one took 24 hours.
Me too-took me a little longer to get my ebates posted (today for a Tuesday morning purchase) but completely paid for using eBay gift cards

I know! haha there has just been a lot of discussion about it not crediting, same with mypoints it says 2-5 days but up to 30. I was just trying to remind people/help out new people!

Yep, all my stuff has credited so far at the regular rates I usually get. Still waiting for ones from yesterday, but expect those will probably show tomorrow, as the day before yesterday's purchase at ebay credited today. So far, I think I've gotten everything credited that I've done thru there for six months now, and maybe have put thru three or four tickets and those were quickly fixed, but those were for
non-gc purchases. I use them and TCB and happy with each so far!

I also wanted to post that I did not submit a ticket to try to let newbies know that submitting tickets for things we should not be getting anyways is NOT a good idea lol! So much of what we receive are things we should NOT be receiving. WHen we don't receive them, we don't submit a ticket, we just chalk it up to the risk we take with all this. So, I am glad you posted what you did ;-)

The only ebates I've ever had not credit were a few from my mobile device and ones where I did multiple orders within the same shipping trip. Other than that they might take a while to show but they've always credited eventually.
I finally got my orders from March 23rd! Definitely the longest wait I've ever had. Or maybe it felt longer because I was missing out on 5x in the process.

Happy dancing!
Between churning gift cards and credit cards we are making a random trip to Disneyland in May :dogdance:. I have been amassing miles and points for the airfare and saw a SW flight deal. Usually I don't pay much attention to them because they are typically way more $ for the routes we fly but I noticed we could get round trip tickets for the 4 of us for 5730 Rapid Rewards points per person (22920 total). I transferred my Chase Ultimate Rewards over yesterday, they showed up in the account today and I just booked. Much better than 25k miles for ONE ticket that all the other airlines charge.
My girls have never been to DL and My hubs and I haven't been in about 6 years. We are going to do 2 nights at DL hotel and I am trying to decide where I want to stay the other 3 nights. I just couldn't wait another 6 months for our WDW trip :yay:. More of the story: Our money saving tricks = more vacations.

This is what happened with our trip in March. I was saving for a big trip January 2017 for my daughters birthday. I looked at what I had in giftcards from all of this and paypal from swagbucks, we had enough for our tickets, food and parking, gas to drive and a cheaper hotel, we even bought a couple of cheap souvenirs and had some left over. So we booked a surprise trip and went! It was so fun and was completely free. We are now working towards January again.

Congrats, that's so awesome! I'm so excited for you! That's gonna be a great trip! DD25 and I are going there in May, as well, May 7-14. First trip! Buy you got a great deal on SW points! We have a trip in Nov to WDW. But, With DD25 planning a wedding next year, she's not sure we can take our yearly trip in 2017, but I'm determined to make enough to get there for our usual Dec trip!

I did email them but only because I had no idea gift card purchases weren't supposed to earn credit. Now that I know I'll have to decide whether to go through ebates and hope for the best or use another portal.

Ebay well another 15 off 75, C15LIMITEDTIME supposed to work on anything...

adding works till 8PM ET

I LITERALLY saw this post at 8:01! :headache: I HATE to miss a deal! Do you have the app and get notifications? Or did you happen to be on eBay and see it?

If you have a Sam's club membership, I would say Walmart cards would be the winner for sure. You can buy discounted gift cards at Sams with walmart cards. Amazon used to not let you buy gift cards with their gift cards, but some have reported being able to do it recently.

I bought Southwest gift cards from Amazon, but otherwise the selection is not much different from the usual GCs. They do have Landry's but no Disney or eBay (of course). I *wish* they had Disney! My DH gets a boatload of Amazon GCs from FedEx rewards program. So, if it were me, I'd go with the Walmart GCs.

@linzjane88 - I'm so excited for you and your family! DH surprised me with a trip for our anniversary back in October. It was our first time going and I LOVED it! I can't wait to take our younger boys! (Oldest DS went with youth group at the end of a mission trip.) And I absolutely fell in love with the Disneyland Hotel. I love it's retro-chic.

I will say that churning has made me poke around more on eBay's site, and now I've got my eye on a couple of high $ items. I'm resisting (for now) - but I can see how tolerating churning could be profitable for businesses in the long run.

I am just starting to have a large amount of target gcs. For the those that are veterans how much do you comfortably put through target in a month?

I am considering buying some eBay gcs in store with target gcs and forgoing the ebates and 5% red card discount.

Can someone explain to me why GCs on Ebay sold buy individuals are list for more than the card is worth? I don't get it when you can just go to the online store and order at face value.

I think of it this way. Every $1000 I buy, I "save" $50 each time (paying $950 for $1000).

I have been considering the same thing though, I usually do 2 separate transactions (because you can only use 4 GC's at once..) one of $600ish (4 $150's from GCM) and one with whatever else I have left, my churning fund is currently right around $800.

I think if I had to do more than 2 transactions, I would probably take some in store. Currently I do one one transaction one day, and one the next, when I receive my GCM cards.

Although going into the store could eat into my profits because we all know we aren't walking into Target for JUST Ebay gift cards lol

I buy $400/600 in Ebay cards every 3 or 4 days. It depends on what value GCs I have from GCM.

When I buy Disney cards, I wait until I have my last order in hand before I order again.

I got theories.
One of my many of why Walmart,Target, gas gift cards sell for so much is that peoples 1st and only credit card is the ebay/pp and need gas and groceries but they have no money or credit.
I also have other theories involving soon to be divorces, crack head soccer moms, churners, shut ins, filler items, hoarders, maxxing out credit cards before you go bankrupt and give up paying ccs.

You aren't the only one that has. There was a lot of speculation the past week that they had stopped paying, but if people were a little more patient with ebates there wouldn't have been. This happens with every aspect of this process regularly. Lots of speculation and worry that is often unnecessary. I have always gotten my ebates, other portals I have missed out on cash back but never ebates. I wasn't trying to single you out, I was just trying to remind everyone it can take up to 30 days.
