How do you all get the eBay offers? I have never purchased gc on eBay. Do I need to do anything other than have an account? I have been purchasing on eBay for years but very sporadically.

You need to both sign up for eBay bucks and allow them to send you marketing correspondence via email. (And whitelist their domain so you don't miss it due to it being marked spam.) Explore the eBay bucks program information on the eBay website for details.

came back to let you all know - hubby works at lowe's. he asked this morning if he could use a lowe's gc to buy an ebay gc and was told by management yes he could. the only change the website says is that merchandise cards can no longer be used online and ONLY in the store. does not say anything about gc not being used. planning to swing by after work and see how it goes. I'm thinking I have time to churn once more with ebay gc, so that's what I plan to buy. if not available, I can always get Disney or SWA.

Did he try? Because the Lowes registers haven't allowed you to buy a gift card with their gift cards in at last 5 years.

I've heard of it working with a manager override.
But, if Lowes has changed their system to allow it without any manager interaction, then that is GREAT news!

I could see that being a problem since GCM usually ships gift card orders over $200 by UPS and UPS won't deliver to a PO box.

Target works with Ebates when you add something other than a GC to your order.

Not always. I've added the "right" items and not gotten credited and other times random amounts for example I spent $900 and should have got $18 in Ebates but only got $5. I've moved onto MyPoints and now I don't have so many damn rulers lying around!!!

But a order of $200 would go to a PO Box, correct? Disney won't ship gift cards to a PO Box either, but they will sure ship $1300 worth of tickets to them.

Same thing just happened to me as well with Ebates and Target.... I purchased $300 in Disney gift cards and added the $0.25 ruler...got $1.90 from Ebates instead of $5.70.....oh well!

Excuse my ignorance because I'm still learning. But I totally missed this part... So you DON'T earn Ebaybucks when you buy Ebay gift cards, but you do earn them when buying Target GCs on Ebay with en Ebay gift card, right?

A couple times when I didn't see a cash credit, I cancelled my target order and redid it and got the Ebates credit. Probably not a good idea though, I suppose.

So, does mypoints credit the gc purchases automatically? How much percentage do they pay and how long till its credited and paid out to you?

I placed an order yesterday morning for 3- 100 Disney gift cards, 2-50 gift cards, a cd, and some pencils. This morning I woke up to an email from ebates for 7.80 so it looks like my full order credited. I added the pencils because I believe music is also excluded from ebates.

Mypoints can be hit or miss like the other sites. Points are on hold for 30 days, at which time they are sometimes credited and sometimes not.

Same here. I purchased some GC's yesterday (mid morning) and my Ebates did not credit until this morning. If it were any more than probably 2 days I'd be worried but I'm OK with it for now!

I have had every order I've made through MyPoints credit when purchasing my Disney gift cards with the target gift cards. I like not having to buy stuff I normally wouldn't just to get the transaction to credit!

I've been buying them for 2 years now.

Yes it will credit just giftcard orders. It takes 30 days for it to enter your account and you get "points" that you can exchange for another giftcard. The rate is 1.4% when you exchange vs 2% but at least I don't have the worry I have with Ebates.

I cruised through the MyPoints redemption area last night & it found the redemption value varied depending on what you cash out for. I did a handful of back-of-envelope calculations, but from what I gathered, 1.4% is pretty much best case scenario. Cashing out for lower amounts with more popular or liquid avenues resulted in a return rate of much closer to 1%. I haven't done an exhaustive comparison, so if I'm way off here, please let me know.

It may be still worth it to not have to buy and/or ship unnecessary items to qualify for a 2% rebate, but just wanted to make sure everyone understood the numbers involved.

Does anyone do all of the daily earning features on SwagBucks? It seems like there is some promise there go from SB points > Target > Disney Gift cards.
