Disney Gift Card Deals

I was able to use mine at 6am, before I left for work.

I wonder if they are going to run out of the $0.25 rulers. I will probably have a dozen or so by next fall so I will just donate them to the kids' school. I think I will be collecting discounted Target cards, then going through EBates to get a ruler and a $100 Target gift card (earning $2) and then turning around and buying a $100 Disney card and another ruler (earning another $1.90).

Got an email for 3x ebay bucks today, although I won't be getting anything from ebay (except for spending my $100 in ebay bucks next month) until I can start spending ebay gc again in early February. I did up a spreadsheet, and I should be able to make $550-$700+ every 6 months between ebay bucks and swagbucks, just cycling the gift cards I already have. And that is at 4x or 5x ebay bucks and 1x swagbucks, could be even more with ebates or if swagbucks is more than 1x

Glad I came back on here this morning to see the cards were activated before 10 CST. I just placed orders to cover my MFs, and will leave the rest for later.

After scratching off so many Target cards, I was glad to see most of the style I bought were easy scratch off (the ones we buy from Kroger are terrible scratch offs). However, being color blind, small black print on red background is very difficult to read. I had to take a picture of several of them and zoom in to make out the numbers.

The red is a sticker and should come off. I try to buy only those types because with a bit of picking on the side, the whole thing (red and scratch off) will peal off.

Anyone get an email that their CARDS shipped? I got an email that my other items I bought did ship, not gift card. Worried, I did 3 transactions.

Yep I did the same thing and came to the same conclusion. I like to have about 500.00 to churn. I'm also out until Frebruary. Our trip is in March so I won't get to do much more for eBay churning for that.

Do you spend a lot of eBay? If so approx. how much? I'm wondering how I can get to qualify for the bonus ebay bucks. And the 3x means 3 x the regular 2% meaning 6%? Or just 3%?

I spent over $1000 in two months and don't get the offers.

Our cruise is in August so I won't be buying Disney cards with the $900 I bought- I'll let the people who have trips coming up take advantage! But after the holidays I'll begin the eBay churning process.

I did spend a lot the last 6 months (hit my $5K per 6 months limit), getting ready for our big November trip (10 days for 4, plus 7 more for the last 4 days) and a quick 4 day/3 night trip next month. 3x means 6% (3x the normal 2%). I don't jump on 3x anymore unless I need some gift cards just then. If I have ebay gc limit availability, I will buy discounted target cards that have free shipping, because they are close to same in % saved as compared to 4x or 5x ebay bucks (or even a little better, depending on the discount), so it doesn't *have* to be a 4x or 5x ebay bucks time to get me to buy

I tried, but I couldn't get any part of the red to peel off.

It just stinks for us red/green color blind people. Nothing major, and not as bad as 1/4 or the Kroger Target GCs that after scratching off I've scratched off a number to where I have to go Target and exchange for a new GC.

I just wanted to come on here and say thank you to everyone on this board for so many great tips and tricks for getting Disney gift cards! I never knew about the Target to Disney conversion before coming here, but thanks to you all, I accumulated $500 in Disney gift cards through reward points (mainly from Swagbucks) since July, which I am now using to go to Disneyland next month! I had been saving the gift cards for a far off WDW trip, but DH and I are going to CA for a business trip for him next month now! Without having these gift cards, we wouldn't have been able to afford the additional cost of DL for the day, but now we can go for free!! Thanks to everyone! Keep plugging along, those gift cards come in handy

So I tried to follow the advice on here about going to the end with your target credit card and then changing it to gift card but it doesnt reflect the 5% discount. What am I doing wrong?

Ditto! I'm glad they had the Target card deal again this year and the $100 DGCs. Helps pay for our OBC with the Disney gift cards.

None for me! I don't trust Target not to mess up by not activating the Disney GCs before shipping when they have a rush like they will today. I can wait, so I will. But just by checking the Target website, I can see that you're limited to 3 $100 GCs and 4 $50 GCs in a single order.

Me too. I don't trust Target when they are this busy. My trip is not until April, and the last cards I need are just for food and souvenirs so I can wait. Plus I want to churn the Target ones a bit more

So what happens if they don't activate the cards? Can you get it fixed at a target store or are they pretty much useless?
